Convincing winner on handicap debut at Longchamp (1¼m, good) at the end of April. Bettered that form when third of 15 in Golden Gates Handicap at Royal Ascot (1¼m, good to firm) in June, running on after meeting trouble. More to come and bold show likely.
Made a winning debut in 1m Newmarket maiden last autumn. Bounced back from a shock defeat on AW when runner-up in a 1¼m Newmarket listed race prior to a below-par run in the Heron at Sandown (1m) in first-time cheekpieces (retained). Back up in trip for handicap debut. Needs to resume progression.
Listed runner up at 2. Creditable 6¼ lengths fourth of 7 to Mount Kilimanjaro in listed Dee Stakes at Chester (1¼m, good to soft) on reappearance in May. Off 12 weeks since. Lightly-raced sort who retains potential now handicapping.
Landed a third career success in 1m Redcar handicap in June. 3 weeks ago. Excellent second of 8 in traditionally strong 3-y-o handicap at the Newmarket July meeting (1¼m, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Can give another good account for a yard no stranger to success in this.
Improver stepped up to 1¼m on last 2 starts, winning fast-ground handicaps at York and Windsor. Another 5 lb higher now but likely has even bigger performances in him.
All the better for his reappearance in the Britannia at Royal Ascot when close third of 11 in 1m Newmarket July meeting handicap (good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Now up in trip with Oisin Murphy riding again.
Shaped a lot better than result in Britannia at Royal Ascot and had Seagolazo behind in third when good second of 11 in 1m Newmarket July meeting handicap 3 weeks ago. Up in trip. Capable of better again and Ryan Moore rides.
Both his wins this season have come at Musselburgh. Just a respectable effort at best when fifth of 7 in handicap at Newmarket (1m, good) 19 days ago. Up in trip. Always dangerous to dismiss one from the Johnston yard in this but he looks more exposed than most of these.
Too Darn Hot colt who shaped well when runner-up on first 2 starts before landing the odds in a 1m Ffos Las maiden 22 days ago. Capable of better now stepping up in trip but his draw is tricky.
Bolted up in a Chester maiden on reappearance in May. Chased home a similarly promising type at Doncaster next time and looked ahead of his mark when eighth in King George Handicap at Royal Ascot (1½m) latest, faring best of those held up. The type to progress further but stall 17 dents confidence.
Made good progress in his first 4 starts. notably 1¾ lengths fourth of 9 to Saddadd in London Gold Cup at Newbury (1¼m, firm) in May. Latest Royal Ascot run too bad to be true and worth putting a line through.
Won 1¼m Windsor novice on reappearance. Better form in defeat since, finishing ½-length second of 7 to reopposing Dante's Lad back at Windsor (1¼m again) 31 days ago.
Readily opened his account in 6-runner maiden at Nottingham (8.3f, good) in May. Improved again when narrowly denied on 1m Ascot handicap debut 20 days ago. This longer trip may suit.
Improved to make a winning handicap debut at Newmarket (1m, good) in April and went close on follow-up attempt here (1m good) 3 weeks later, perhaps not handling the track. Steps up in trip and yet another unexposed sort in this line-up.
360,000 gns Lope de Vega colt who has won 1¼m novices at Nottingham (good) and Redcar (firm) this summer. Open to further progress now handicapping.
Won soft-ground maiden at Doncaster in October. Well-held sixth in Newmarket listed event on reappearance but shaped better when filling the same position in a similar race over C&D (good to soft) last month, making her challenge away from the principals. Remains capable of better in handicaps.
Winner of 1¼m handicaps at Newmarket and Sandown this summer. Creditable fourth of 8 back at Sandown latest, travelling strongly in the lead for a long way.
Consistent in handicaps this year without winning, finishing second of 10 at Ayr (1¼m, good to soft) 25 days ago. Needs first-time cheekpieces to give him something extra.

This looks a very good renewal of what is often one of the hottest 3-y-o handicaps of the season. It'll require a really smart effort to defy top weight but BEST SECRET might be up to the task after his highly promising effort at Royal Ascot. Parole d'Oro, Dante's Lad and Charlie Johnston's Marhaba Ghaiyyath head the many dangers.
