Shaman colt who showed a striking turn of foot to make a successful debut at Leicester (5f) in May. Shaped better than the distance beaten suggests in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot next time and remains open to improvement with the step up to 6f unlikely to be an issue on breeding.
Twice-raced maiden. Last of 7 in novice at Salisbury (6f, good to firm, 14/1) 15 days ago. Needs this run for a handicap mark.
£25,000 yearling, Starman colt. Dam, third at 7f, half-sister to useful winner up to 7f Swift Approval. Much improved from debut when second of 12 in 6f Salisbury novice last month and open to further improvement.
Failed to progress from debut when sixth of 12 in maiden at Chelmsford City (6f) 39 days ago. Needs this run for a handicap mark.
Foaled March 3. 34,000 gns foal, 32,000 gns yearling, Ardad colt. Half-brother to several winners, including smart 7f winner Witness Stand and 2-y-o 6f winner Armed Response. Makes some appeal on paper, so worth a precautionary check in the betting.
Saxon Warrior colt who left debut form well behind and would have won but for residual greenness at the business end when third in 7-runner novice at Salisbury (6f) 15 days ago. Likely to progress further.
Saxon Warrior colt. Dam, 2-y-o 5f winner, half-sister to 1m/9f winner Top Ravine. Improved on debut form when fourth (a place behind Comic Hero) of 7 in 6f novice at Salisbury (good to firm) 15 days ago whilst leaving the impression nurseries are the main aim.
Foaled April 14. £60,000 yearling, 25,000 gns 2-y-o, Starman colt. Half-brother to several winners, notably smart 6f/7f winner Spycatcher. Dam maiden half-sister to very smart winner up to 1¼m Zafisio. Stable’s first-timers warrant respect.
Profitable colt. Half-brother to 7f winners Butte Rouge and Atlantic Ways. Dam, 7f/1m winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 10.4f Master Carpenter. Looked one for the longer term when down the field at Windsor on debut 17 days ago.
Twice-raced maiden who showed something like debut form when seventh of 10 in maiden at Haydock (7.2f, good) 19 days ago. Needs more.
Foaled April 23. 17,000 gns yearling, St Mark's Basilica colt. Dam, ran twice, out of useful 1¾m-2m winner Myrine. Bred for longer trips and possibly more one for later on.
Twilight Son colt. Dam, 5f winner (including at 2 yrs) who stayed 6f, half-sister to useful winner up to 7f Spanish Bounty. Showed only a bit when fifth of 7 in novice at Salisbury (6f, good to firm) on debut 15 days ago.

Forecasts
Astrazar (2/1), Shaman Champion (2/1), Comic Hero (9/2), Saint Of The Sea (11/1), Penhallam (14/1), King Victorious (18/1), Twilight Glow (20/1), John Barleycorn (22/1), Quick Turn (50/1), Caitrinho (50/1), Airside (125/1), Clipstone (125/1)
ASTRAZAR pulled clear of the remainder when beaten only by a promising debutant at Salisbury last month and is selected to make it third time lucky with further improvement on the cards. Comic Hero was held back by residual greenness at the business end at the aforementioned track on his most recent outing and is capable of better still, with previous winner Shaman Champion also of firm interest back in calmer waters.
