€300,000 yearling, Siyouni gelding. Half-brother to useful 9f winner Up And Under. Dam, 1¼m winner who stayed 1½m, sister to very smart 2-y-o 1m/9f winner Line of Duty. Makes appeal on paper ahead of this belated debut and significant if the market spoke in his favour.
Iffraaj filly who was hooded for debut and showed only greenness when seventh of 9 in novice at Southwell (7f) 6 months ago. This ought to reveal more but she can only be watched in any case.
Sea The Moon colt who took a step forward from his debut/after 8 months off when keeping on fifth of 10 in novice at Southwell (8.1f) 22 days ago. Appeals as the type to do better again but handicaps (including over further) may well be more his thing.
Mohaather gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including 2-y-o 6f winners La Rioja and Pastoral Girl. Dam unraced. Betting can unearth some clues ahead of debut.
Showcasing gelding who is bred to be useful but proved easy to back and was held back by inexperience when seventh of 10 in novice (22/1) at Windsor (8.1f, good) on debut 30 days ago, going in snatches. Entitled to do better.
Ribchester gelding who hinted at ability when seventh of 14 in maiden (18/1) at Windsor (8.1f, good to firm) on debut 16 days ago, not knocked about. Fancied to do better but he's probably one for later on.
Too Darn Hot colt. Built on the promise of his debut second at Nottingham when filling same spot in 16-runner novice at Doncaster (1m) 33 days ago. Appeals as the type to progress further and he sets a clear standard here. The one to beat.
Expert Eye gelding. Half-brother to useful winner up to 1¾m Rathgar. Dam, 1m/8.3f winner, half-sister to smart winner up to 1m Johan out of useful 2-y-o 6f winner Sandreamer. Yard have enjoyed plenty of success with this family and he's another who commands a market check on debut.
Modest gelding. Remains a maiden after 7 Flat runs. Eighth of 10 in handicap (50/1) at this C&D (soft) 10 days ago, weakening from 2f out. Not one to be interested in on that evidence.
Thrice-raced gelding. Tongue strap on for 1st time, fourth of 7 in maiden at Newbury (11f, good, 15/2) 88 days ago, unsuited by emphasis on speed. Return to shorter not an obvious plus on that evidence but claims of making the frame nevertheless.
300,000 gns yearling, Wootton Bassett filly. Showed plenty to work on when third of 11 in maiden at Leicester (8.2f, good to firm) on debut 36 days ago, her inexperience showing in the closing stages. Looks sure to do better with that run behind her.
Night of Thunder filly. Half-sister to 3 winners, including smart winner up to 1m Heredia and 7f winner Vasilissa. Likely type on paper.
1,000 gns yearling, Washington DC filly. 66/1, showed nothing when last of 5 in novice at Wolverhampton (6.1f) on debut 29 days ago, very slowly away. Easy enough to look elsewhere quickly stepped up significantly in trip.

High Degree (1/2), Charming Princess (10/3), Vronti (9/1), Whatcombe (11/1), Bluecoltrane (22/1), Mezcala (25/1), Asian Journey (33/1), Furhaan (33/1), Chalke Valley (80/1), Tresca (150/1), Hampson Green (150/1), Sofian (200/1), Yankee Queen (200/1)
HIGH DEGREE built on his debut promise and marked himself down as a banker for a contest like this when runner-up in a Doncaster novice over this trip 33 days ago. He can make it third time lucky, possibly at the chief expense of Ralph Beckett's Charming Princess. Whatcombe is another fancied to be thereabouts, whilst newcomer Asian Journey is one to note in the betting.
