Off time: 15:24 | Winning time: 1m 3.19s

(6)

Lady Roxby¹⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: J Mitchell| T: M Herrington| OR: 70| D

4/1

5f nursery winner for Bryan Smart last summer who ran respectably starting out for new yard/after 8 months off when second of 9 in handicap at Thirsk (5f) 18 days ago, that despite not being seen to best effect. That was encouraging and she's fancied to build on it here.

Form: 43616-2

Angelic Bugler¹⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-8| J: D Fentiman| T: T D Easterby| OR: 69

14/1

Winning debut at Ripon in April and posted best effort since switched to more positive tactics when third of 9 in handicap at Thirsk (5f, good to firm, 15/2) 18 days ago, no extra close home. Claims with a repeat.

Form: 1383

(1)

Brazilian Belle¹⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: D Egan| T: M Dods| OR: 68| D

6/1

Consistent rather than progressive this year, good fourth of 9 in handicap at Thirsk (5f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Handy draw to operate from is an obvious plus but she appears to be no more than averagely treated.

Form: 35-4344

(11)

Invincible Crown^p1¹⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: Mark Winn| T: Mrs R Carr| OR: 67| D

50/1

Signed off 2-y-o campaign with victory in a Wolverhampton nursery (5.1f) in October. Switched yards thereafter and comes here with something to prove, last of 9 in handicap at Thirsk (5f, good to firm) 18 days ago. Cheekpieces go on now.

(7)

Cheerleader³⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: Callum Rodriguez| T: Miss T Jackson| OR: 64| D

5/1

Caused a shock when making a winning return on stable debut at Redcar (5f) in May. However, proved that no fluke when smoothly following up under a penalty at Catterick (5f) 5 weeks ago and this improving filly has a part to play again despite a 10 lb weights rise.

Form: 6324-11

(3)

Atomic Mass²⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: Billy Garritty| T: M & D Easterby| OR: 64| D

5/2

Justified good support when off the mark in 8-runner handicap at Wetherby (5.5f) and backed up improvement displayed then when third at Doncaster (6f) 3 weeks ago. Expected to be in the thick of things again.

Form: 76-0613

(2)

Alfa Sea Breeze²⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 8-13| J: A Elliott| T: I Furtado| OR: 60

13/2

Speedily-bred filly who has offered promise all 3 starts to date, holding her own for a long way when sixth of 16 in class 2 novice at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 28 days ago. Switch to handicaps in her favour and she's likely capable of better back down in trip.

Form: 5-46

(5)

Fair Call⁴⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 8-11| J: Tom Kiely-Marshall⁽⁵⁾| T: Miss J A Camacho| OR: 58

14/1

Lightly-raced maiden. 18/1, sixth of 8 in handicap at Redcar (5f, good to firm) 29 days ago. No surprise where she to build on that given it was her first start for 7 months and worth noting if the market spoke in her favour.

Form: 565-6

(4)

Juno Star¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 8-10| J: Cieren Fallon| T: P J McBride| OR: 57

14/1

Lightly-raced maiden who wasn't far off pick of her form when fifth of 10 in handicap at Newmarket (6f, good to firm, 22/1) 14 days ago, weakening last ½f. Likely needs to pull out a bit more if she's to make the breakthrough here.

Forecasts

Atomic Mass (5/2), Lady Roxby (4/1), Cheerleader (5/1), Brazilian Belle (6/1), Alfa Sea Breeze (13/2), Larchill Lass (10/1), Juno Star (14/1), Fair Call (14/1), Angelic Bugler (14/1), Blue Lakota (20/1), Invincible Crown (50/1)

CHEERLEADER has clearly returned an improved model for her new yard, opening her account at Redcar prior to following up in smooth style under a penalty at Catterick 5 weeks ago. That effort hasn't gone unnoticed by the assessor but she hasn't finished improving yet on that evidence and could well be up to completing the hat-trick. Lady Roxby shaped well when runner-up at Thirsk and is feared along with Atomic Mass.
