Iffraaj gelding who justified support down in grade when landing 9-runner claimer at Beverley (5f, good, 9/4) 10 days ago, staying on to lead near finish. This speed-favouring 5f may not suit ideally on that evidence and this rates tougher.
Thrice-raced maiden. 12/1, fifth of 6 in maiden at Hamilton (5f, good) 10 days ago. Needs to bounce back now dropped in grade.
Twice-raced maiden. Showed a bit having started better than he did on debut when seventh of 13 in novice at Carlisle (5.8f, soft, 11/1) 9 days ago. Still, he'll need to step forward from that if he's to play a significant role here.
Land Force colt who got back on track down in grade when 1½ lengths third of 9 to Head For Freedom in claimer at Beverley (5f, good, 3/1) 10 days ago. Meets that rival on more favourable terms here and each-way claims again.
Kodiac filly who showed plenty of ability when second of 6 in maiden at Ripon (5f) on debut last month. Quick turnaround/much stronger company both plausible excuses when eighth in 9-runner listed race at York next time and she very much appeals as the type to bounce back in this company.
Fair form to date, runner-up first 2 starts prior to a creditable fourth of 9 in novice at Salisbury (5f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time and she's entitled to be thereabouts.
A'ali filly. Half-sister to Italian winner up to 1¼m Il Re Miki. 150/1, showed little when last of 12 in maiden at Redcar (6f, good to firm) on debut 11 days ago. Tongue strap on for 1st time.

Forecasts
Alaskan Light (8/13), Filly Foden (10/3), U Turn (11/1), Kodigara (12/1), Head For Freedom (12/1), Power Supreme (28/1), U Heat (150/1)
Following an encouraging debut second at Ripon, ALASKAN LIGHT is probably best not judged too harshly on her subsequent run in listed company at York (5f) 22 days ago and, with her sights lowered considerably, Karl Burke's filly is fancied to bounce back. Filly Foden may be the one to provide chief resistance.
