Smart performer who was a respectable third in a 1m Ascot listed race 17 days ago but there's nothing in his record to think he'll be up to the task here.
Failed to build on his close second in French 2000 Guineas later in 2024 but back to form with a bang as a 4-y-o, winning a Doncaster listed race and Group 2 Sandown Mile (beat Tamfana 1¾ lengths) this spring. Likely to go well under Ryan Moore.
Won Group 3s over 1m at Glorious Goodwood and 9f at Newmarket in a progressive 3-y-o campaign. Something can't have been right when well held behind Dancing Gemini and Tamfana in the Group 2 Sandown Mile on reappearance 24 days ago.
Winner of the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket (beat Rosallion) and Sussex Stakes at Goodwood as a 3-y-o. Prone to the odd poor run but a high-class miler on his day and today's likely ground conditions should be ideal.
A three-time 1¼m winner last year who took his form up another notch with a success in the Group 3 Earl of Sefton at Newmarket (9f, good to soft) on reappearance 32 days ago. Very likeable but this might be a little beyond his capabilities.
High-class colt who chased home Notable Speech in 2000 Guineas on his 3-yo reappearance before winning the Irish 2000 Guineas and St James's Palace at Royal Ascot (Notable Speech behind). Missed the rest of last season due to a setback. The type to make up for lost time at 4.
Moyglare and Irish 1000 Guineas winner who was also second in the Matron at Leopardstown in September. Respectable 1¾ lengths fourth of 11 to Friendly Soul when stepped up to 1¼m in Prix de l'Opera at Longchamp final start. Might be vulnerable up against the boys on return.
Unlucky not to win last year's 1000 Guineas. Gained some compensation with stylish win in Sun Chariot back at Newmarket in October and returned with a good 1¾ lengths second to Dancing Gemini in Sandown Mile last month. Enjoys a 5 lb swing in the weights with Roger Teal's charge. Likely to go well.

Dancing Gemini (2/1), Rosallion (9/4), Notable Speech (9/2), Tamfana (15/2), Lead Artist (17/2), Fallen Angel (20/1), Persica (22/1), Prague (33/1), Checkandchallenge (125/1)
A cracking Lockinge. Although ROSALLION's 3-y-o campaign was curtailed by a respiratory infection it means last year's Irish 2000 Guineas and St James's Palace hero returns with relatively few miles on the clock and he can put down an early marker in this division and prove too strong for last year's 2000 Guineas winner Notable Speech. On more favourable terms, Tamfana can turn around last month's Sandown Mile form with Dancing Gemini and prove best of the rest.
