Sea The Stars gelding who made a winning start in an AW bumper at Lingfield (2m) in December. Maintained his unbeaten record when following up in an 8-runner C&D novice in February, seen to good effect coming off a strong gallop. This demands more conceding weight all round.

Fair, 2-time winner over hurdles at up to 3m earlier in his career. However, off 15 months prior to a low-key debut effort on the Flat at Newcastle in March and well held returned to timber at Sedgefield (27f) 4 weeks ago. Passed over.

Fair bumper performer who won maiden event here (15.8f) in February of last year. Given a wind op ahead of return but offered little encouragement on first Flat start when fifth of 6 in novice at Ascot (12f) in October. Absent again since and handicaps later on could be more his bag.

Twice-raced maiden on Flat. 100/1, fourth of 5 in maiden at Kempton (11f) 15 days ago. Handicaps/over longer trips will likely prove more suitable moving forward in this sphere.

Promising type who overcame greenness to make a winning debut at Chelmsford (10f) in November. Similar form when running on second of 7 in novice at Yarmouth (10.1f, good to firm) 25 days ago and he's of interest upped in trip with prospect of more to come.

Promising individual who only needed minor progress from debut when getting off the mark in straightforward fashion in 6-runner novice (8/11) at Lingfield (12f, AW) 20 days ago, drawing clear final 1f. Another on the shortlist with further progress on the cards.

Soldier Hollow colt who isn't without hope on paper but didn't show much when sixth of 9 in novice at Newbury (10f, good, 28/1) on debut 19 days ago. In good hands though, and this should reveal more.

Palazzo Blu ran well when runner-up at Chelmsford 25 days ago and he's another on the shortlist now upped in trip. Foxlight who is 2-2 to date can do best of the older brigade.
