Gambled on and showed improved form when off the mark in 10-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) in October, well on top finish. Off since but still unexposed and looks capable of following up from only a 4 lb higher mark.
Eleven runs since last win in 2024 but again ran respectably when fifth of 9 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 59 days ago, no extra only late on. Should remain competitive.
Dual winner who got back on track when fifth of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (5f) 21 days ago. Should prove as effective on turf and merits consideration.
Back-to-back winner in the summer, latterly here in July. Well below form at Ripon (5f, good to firm) on final start but could bounce back on this return to action.
Ran poorly on first run since leaving Julie Camacho when last of 12 in handicap (66/1) at Southwell (7.1f) 22 days ago. Needs to leave that well behind back on turf.
C&D winner who ended a long losing run at Nottingham in October but not in same form in a better race at Newmarket on final outing. Has gone well fresh before.
3-time C&D winner who ran one of lesser races when sixth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 11 days ago. Type to bounce back quickly.
Below form final 2 starts last season but possibilities from reduced mark if fully tuned up.
Took a step back in the right direction when seventh of 9 in handicap at Newcastle (6f, 11/1) on final outing. Reappears from a 3 lb lower mark and can't be ruled out.
Ended last season out of sorts so returns with plenty to prove.

Forecasts
Musical Touch (11/4), Bell Shot (10/3), Ingleby Archie (11/2), Bay Breeze (15/2), Muscika (15/2), Filly One (10/1), Travis (16/1), Milbanke (16/1), Roundhay Park (18/1), Naval Academy (25/1)
MUSICAL TOUCH displayed a good change of pace to run down a pair of free-going sorts at Wolverhampton in October and a mere 4 lb rise doesn't look enough to prevent the follow up on that evidence. Filly One should prove at least as effective on turf and needs considering with the step back up in trip looking a good move, while veteran Muscika is the type to bounce back quickly from a lesser effort.
