Has improved in 2 starts at Wetherby since returning from a break in December, latterly staying on into third in the 19.7f handicap won by Chasingouttheblues (winner again since). Shapes as though this stiffer test will be right up his street and he's a key player off the same mark.

Off the mark at Kelso last May but pulled up in handicap chase on return/belated debut over fences at Carlisle in November. Low-mileage for a 10-y-o and certainly not without hope returned to this sphere, provided his stamina passes the test.

Third 3 times on the bounce over 2m in November/ December but failed to improve for the step up to 20.4f at Southwell on New Year's Day. Serious stamina question mark surrounds her now faced with an even stiffer test.

Never figured in trio of bumpers for Iain Jardine but improved at the third attempt in this sphere/for present yard when runner-up in a 17f maiden here last month. Only seventh on handicap bow back at this course recently but he could be seen in a better light now that he moves up in trip.

Solid efforts in maiden/novice company at Hexham during spring 2023 but he showed precious little when returning from a lengthy absence at Kelso in October.

Shaped better than the bare result in his qualifying runs but it's hard to be positive about this 7-y-o on the back of a poor handicap debut display at Carlisle.

Encouraging second in an Ayr bumper on debut and some fair form to his name in this sphere, shaping fairly well on return (first run following a wind op) at Kelso where he was fifth in an 11-runner handicap over 21f. Now 2 lb lower and he's one to consider.

Standout effort over hurdles (modest form) when fourth of 10 in a Hexham maiden on penultimate start. Failed to build on that next time but perhaps this switch to handicap company will be the catalyst for some improvement.

Has failed to trouble the judge in 4 starts to date but there have been positive signs, including when seventh of 18 on return/handicap bow at Ayr (20.4f, soft) where he shaped as though he'd be better for the run. Improvement may well be on the way.

Remains a maiden following 13 attempts under Rules but went closer to winning than ever before when beaten ½-length into second at Ayr (21.4f, heavy) earlier this month, in turn pulling clear of the rest. Reproduction of that effort would put him firmly in the picture here.

Dual point winner but has offered little in 3 maiden hurdles this season and will need to leave that form a long way behind if he's to make an impact on this handicap debut.

This step up in trip could be just the ticket for WAINWRIGHT, who is entitled to come on for his handicap debut spin at Ayr where he was returning from a nine-month absence and, with just four runs under his belt, his best days are surely ahead of him. Glen Road is also likely to benefit from this stiffer test and he is feared most, although Authorized Mission is yet another who promises to be suited by going up in distance and is shortlisted, along with Lucky Soldier and Reagrove Lord.
