Remains a maiden after 25 Flat runs. Bit below form fifth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (8f, 7/4) 26 days ago. Eye-catching fourth here on previous outing and has to be taken seriously again.

Forecasts

Windsor Pass (6/4), Jkr Cobbler (10/3), Thanks Dad (11/2), Spartan Fighter (7/1), Absolute Dream (10/1), Yaahobby (11/1), Odd Socks Havana (22/1), Pearly Star (33/1)

Verdict

SPARTAN FIGHTER added to his fine record here last week and Antony Brittain's gelding makes plenty of appeal bidding to follow up. Windsor Pass didn't immediately build on a promising effort here at Kempton last time but can't be written off, with Jkr Cobbler completing the shortlist.
