C&D winner. 12/1, ninth of 14 in handicap at Doncaster (5f, good) 17 days ago. Edging back down the weights but one or two of these look stronger.
Four-time C&D winner. Latest win at Doncaster in July. Seventh of 11 in handicap at this C&D (9/1) 23 days ago, never nearer. Back down to last winning mark and could have a say if he puts his best foot forward.
C&D winner. 13/2, second of 4 in handicap at Brighton (5.3f, good to soft) 28 days ago. That was his best effort since going close on the AW in January but he looks vulnerable here all the same.
Three-time C&D winner. 3 wins from 13 runs this year. Good second of 11 in handicap (16/5) at this C&D 23 days ago. Clearly in good nick and it will be no surprise at all to see this 5-y-o play another leading role.
Four-time C&D winner. 4 wins from 12 runs this year. 15/2, below form fifth of 10 in handicap at this C&D. Off 140 days. Given a chance by the handicapper (now 1 lb below last winning mark) and he's one to consider.
Course winner. Fourteen runs since last win in 2022. 11/1, good second of 9 in handicap at Redcar (5f, good to firm) 13 days ago, just failing. His turn is seemingly near judged on that but this 7 lb AW higher mark could be a stumbling block.
Course winner. Good third of 8 in handicap (15/2) at Ayr (5f, good to firm) 11 days ago. Major claims off the same mark here.
C&D winner. Respectable third of 6 in handicap at Lingfield (5f, good to firm, 22/1). Off 102 days ahead of this debut for new yard but each-way chance if fully tuned-up.
66/1, eighth of 11 in handicap at this C&D 23 days ago and this filly is likely to struggle once more.
Five wins from 19 runs this year, the latest at Bath in September. Respectable sixth of 12 in handicap (25/1) at Chester (5.5f, soft) 9 days ago. Others preferred.

Aces Wild (3/1), Darlo Pride (4/1), Cluedo (9/2), Ecclesiastical (5/1), Nelson Gay (5/1), High Velocity (7/1), Jojo Rabbit (10/1), Smooth Silesie (25/1), Pop Dancer (25/1), Gustav Graves (33/1), Mary The Priest (40/1)
ECCLESIASTICAL was successful here off a 1 lb higher mark last November and his turn appears to be again near judged on a recent near miss at Ayr where he was beaten just ½-length into third, despite failing to fully settle. Gustav Graves has slipped to an attractive mark, too, and he is feared most ahead of the in-form Aces Wild. The Michael Dods-trained duo Darlo Pride and Nelson Gay are also worthy of consideration.
