Left debut form well behind over a 2f longer trip when winning 6-runner novice at Haydock (7f, soft) 75 days ago. That form has worked out well and he's open to further improvement under a penalty.
Foaled March 10. €48,000 yearling, Invincible Spirit colt. Brother to 1m winner Sogno Giallorosso and half-brother to 3 winners, including smart winner up to 1¼m Beringer and 7f/1m winner World of Good.
Foaled March 31. New Bay colt. Dam lightly-raced half-sister to Coventry Stakes winner Calyx out of smart 2-y-o 6f-1m winner Helleborine. Stable’s first-timers warrant respect.
Foaled March 28. €75,000 yearling, 125,000 gns 2-y-o, Zarak colt. One for shortlist on debut given connections and is seemingly preferred by Oisin Murphy.
Looked one for later on when well held in 7f novice at Newbury (good to firm) on debut 19 days ago.
Showed a bit when ninth of 13 in maiden (33/1) at Sandown (7f, good to soft) on debut 13 days ago, met some trouble. Should do better.
Foaled April 6. Kingman colt. Half-brother to several winners, including very smart winner up to 1m Secret Ambition and smart 2-y-o 7f/1m winner Royal Marine. Bred to be smart and highly respected on debut.
Held back by inexperience when down the field in 7f novice at Newbury (good to firm) on debut 19 days ago, slowly away. Tongue strap on for 1st time.
Foaled April 14. €35,000 yearling, King of Change colt. Half-brother to numerous winners, including smart 7f winner Tobann, useful 2-y-o 5f winner Vertiginous and useful 8.3f-1¼m winner Team Decision. Debutant to note.
Foaled March 26. 150,000 gns foal, Pinatubo colt. Closely related to smart 2-y-o 7f winner La Barrosa and half-brother to several winners, including 2-y-o 7f/1m winner Itsy Bitsy and 9f winner Once. Plenty to like on paper.
Foaled January 26. Kingman colt. Dam, placed at 1¼m/11.5f, half-sister to very smart 7f/1m winner Skilful out of useful 1½m winner Prowess. Interesting newcomer.
Offered little when last of 9 in novice at Thirsk (7f, good to firm, 16/1) on debut 12 days ago.
Improved on debut form when second of 12 in novice at this course (6f) 28 days ago.

Forecasts
Fifth Column (11/8), Yaroogh (11/4), Chemical (5/1), Sheikh Raj (17/2), Calla Lagoon (10/1), The Lost King (25/1), Tiete (28/1), River King (40/1), Cristo (66/1), Hot Frank (66/1), Commander Flavius (100/1), Bishopton (100/1), Angel Express (150/1)
A chance is taken on expensive-breezer CHEMICAL, who is well drawn in stall 2 and is seemingly the choice of Oisin Murphy. Yaroogh won a race at Haydock in May that has worked out notably well, so he's very much respected under a penalty with further improvement on the cards. Fifth Column is another noteworthy newcomer who requires close market inspection.
