Produced a career best when winning 14-runner handicap at Doncaster (6f, soft) in March and has held his form since. Has a three-month break to overcome but has run well on both previous visits to this track.
Ungenuine sort who ended long losing run at Kempton in November. Rare poor run at Newcastle when last seen four months ago and may need this.
Dual winner as a 3-y-o who started this season in good order and was firmly back on track when scoring over C&D a month ago. Should go well again.
Likeable type who added to a productive campaign when scoring over C&D in June. Backed it up with a solid showing when third to Sergeant Pep here a month ago and every reason to think he'll give another good account.
Took advantage of being eased in grade when winning 10-runner handicap at Ayr in June and backed it up with a respectable third there. Second in this last year but others look a bit better treated now.
Still lightly raced and made an impressive winning start for his third stable when landing a 12-runner event at Thirsk 18 days ago. Another bold showing seems likely as long as he's not stuck on the wing from stall 1.
Returned from a lengthy absence with an improved display to score readily over C&D 16 days ago. Should remain ahead of his mark in theory and good claims if coping with quick turnaround.
Didn't need to improve to win 14-runner claimer at Dundalk (7f, 5/1) 23 days ago, driven out. First run for yard after leaving Edward Lynam. Mark looks feasible and he's worth monitoring in the betting.
Hasn't won for a while and needs everything to drop right. On a handy mark and arrives on the back of one of his better efforts when second at York, so not without hope.
Dual winner last season, but hard to take any positives from this year's efforts.
Bagged 6f handicaps at Catterick and Haydock in April and has remained in good form since, leaving the impression that he can still be competitive off this sort of mark. Each-way chance.
A while since his last win, but from his falling mark there have been more encouraging signs lately, fifth of 14 at York last time. Could click in first-time cheekpieces.
Ran better than for a while when second of 9 in handicap at Salisbury on penultimate start but failed to back it up at Newbury last time and others make more appeal.
Lightly-raced maiden who returned to pick of his form when second in a Chelmsford novice (7f) in October on final start for Andrew Balding. Failed to beat a rival on debut for this yard and has something to prove with that in mind.
Winner at Chelmsford City (7f) for Tom Clover in November but more miss than hit subsequently. Hard to fancy.

Forecasts
Baba Reza (7/2), Roberto Caro (11/2), Trilby (6/1), Spirit Of Applause (15/2), Sergeant Pep (15/2), Grant Wood (9/1), Thankuappreciate (11/1), Knebworth (12/1), Rough Diamond (16/1), Admiral D (22/1), Be Proud (25/1), Lihou (33/1), Call Me Ginger (33/1), Al Shabab (66/1), Rogue Thunder (80/1)
GRANT WOOD won here in June, then fared best of those ridden prominently when third to Sergeant Pep here a month ago, so he's fancied to turn the tables with that rival and get back to winning ways. Last-time-out winners Baba Reza and Roberto Caro are also obvious players.
- Grant Wood9/1
- Baba Reza7/2
