C&D winner. Thirteen runs since last win in 2023. Bit below form fifth of 10 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, good to firm, 10/1) 27 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Drawn wider than ideal but still enters calculations.
Latest win on AW at Newcastle in March but has found life tougher on turf since. Others are more persuasive.
Five wins from Flat runs. 18/1, very good fourth of 11 in handicap at Haydock (7f, good to firm) 21 days ago, suited by way race developed.
Dual winner for Sir Mark Prescott last year but has failed to beat a rival in 2 outings for current yard.
Scored at Haydock last summer for Ralph Beckett and shaping up well for new yard, travelling well for long way when third of 18 over C&D (good to soft) 14 days ago. Big player.
Dropped a long way down the weights and has shaped well on a couple of occasions this term. Latest Doncaster effort disappointing, though.
Three wins in a productive 2022 campaign but has found life harder since, including down the field over C&D 6 weeks ago.
Just one success from 18 starts thus far but he has been placed on several occasions, including C&D in May. Down the field back here since, though.
16/5, career best when dead heating in 9-runner handicap at Doncaster (7f, good to soft) 15 days ago, sticking to task. Should remain very competitive after a 2 lb nudge.
Creditable third of 8 in handicap at Carlisle (1m, good, 6/1) 20 days ago, better placed than most.
14/1, first run since leaving Clive Cox when twelfth of 13 in handicap at Ripon (6f, good to firm) on reappearance 77 days ago. Needs to leave that effort well behind with a tongue strap back on now.
Won twice over 7f last month and good runner-up both outings since. No reason he won't continue in form but he is drawn wider than ideal here.
Creditable fourth of 11 in handicap at Leicester (7f, good, 5/1) 20 days ago, carrying his head a bit awkwardly under pressure.
Latest win at Catterick in April. Runner-up at Ayr on next 2 starts but needs to shrug off a poor run back at Catterick last time.
18/1, bit below form eleventh of 18 in C&D handicap (good to soft) 14 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Remains a maiden after 16 starts. 22/1, seventeenth of 18 in handicap at this course (6f, good to soft) 13 days ago. Cheekpieces back on.
Won at Southwell in January. Creditable third there later that month but off since 2 lesser runs at Newcastle in February.

LEADENHALL caught the eye with the way he travelled dropped to 7f here last time and is taken to come good back in a slightly lower grade. Charencey has enjoyed a good summer and is second choice ahead of Another Investment, who can flatter to deceive a little but is more than capable of playing a prominent role at a track where he has winning form.
