Not the biggest but she boasts a good pedigree and made a highly encouraging start to her career when second in a 6f maiden here (good to soft). Will be more street-wise this time and stepping up to 7f will help unlock improvement. The one to beat.
Didn't show much in the way of immediate promise when out with the washing in a 6f Newcastle novice on debut last month.
Just minor promise in 7f events at Haydock and Yarmouth, and she will be of greater interest when going down the nursery route.
Appealing pedigree and clear signs of promise on recent introduction at Newbury (6f, good), for all that she finished nearer last than first. Likely to come on plenty with that experience to draw upon and she's worth a second look.
Foaled April 25. Harry Angel filly. Half-sister to winner abroad by Elzaam. Dam twice-raced half-sister to useful/temperamental winner up to 12.3f (stays 14.5f) Struth. Yard rarely strikes with newcomers, so watching brief advised on this occasion.
300,000 gns half-sister to useful 2-y-o 6f winner Pearling Pat. Dam, 11f winner who stayed 1¾m, half-sister to very smart 7f-1½m winner I'm Your Man. Oisin Murphy booked and this filly needs close attention in the betting.
Foaled March 3. Ghaiyyath filly. Half-sister to 1¼m-1½m winner Saracen Star. Represents top 2-y-o yard and the market should offer clues with regard to expectations of this filly first time out. Yard also saddles Stellenbosch.
Half-sister to useful winner up to 1m Mystic Pearl and 1¼m winner Clear Storm. Shaped well when fifth in a 13-runner Thirsk novice (6f, good) last month and, with improvement likely now upped to 7f, she has to enter calculations.
Left the impression that she would be winning races sooner rather than later when third in a 6f Newbury novice (good) 15 days ago. This stiffer test will be in her favour if pedigree is any guide and she looks nailed on to play a part in the finish here.
Foaled February 16. Mohaather filly. Dam, 6f winner, sister to high-class 5f/6f winner Bated Breath and half-sister to high-class winner up to 9f Cityscape. Doesn't have the look of a probable first-time-out winner on paper.

Forecasts
Adoon Valley (11/10), Miss Tonnerre (10/3), Stellenbosch (5/1), Shining Pearl (6/1), Phaedra (16/1), Teenage Daydream (22/1), Crocodile River (28/1), Help From Above (66/1), Astroqualis (150/1), Baileys Honeymoon (200/1)
There was much to like about ADOON VALLEY's recent debut second at this course and, with improvement on the cards now moving up in trip, she is taken to go one better this time. Stellenbosch and Shining Pearl also shaped well on their respective introductions and are feared most in that order of preference, while Crocodile River should do better in time. Miss Tonnerre could be the pick of the newcomers and it will be interesting to see how she shapes up in the betting.
