Foaled April 26. Rajasinghe colt. Brother to 7f winner Giant. Dam, winner up to 7f (2-y-o 6f winner), half-sister to smart winner up to 7f Roi de Vitesse. One of 2 representing this yard (the other being The Last Time) and it'll be interesting to see what the market has to say.

Twice-raced filly. Fifth of 8 in maiden (7/2) at this C&D (good to firm) 49 days ago. That represented a backward step having finishing an encouraging second on debut but it's far too soon to write this filly off.

Forecasts

Invincible Crown (11/4), Mister Mcgregor (3/1), Woodhay Whisper (9/2), Montbeliarde (5/1), Dubai Magic (9/1), I Follow Rivers (14/1), Nanna Western (20/1), Eighteencaratgold (25/1), The Last Time (28/1), Jr Climbs (40/1), Balzarini (50/1), Pure Liberty (50/1), Glamorous Jewel (66/1), Ruby Rascal (125/1), Angel At Midnight (200/1)

Verdict

On the back of encouraging third-placed finishes at Chelmsford and latterly this C&D, INVINCIBLE CROWN is taken to make it third time lucky. He remains capable of better and should prove too strong for interesting newcomers Montbeliarde and Dubai Magic. The Richard Spencer-trained debutants I Follow Rivers and The Last Time both need a market check, while Woodhay Whisper will be a threat if able to get back on track.
