(11)

Mizuumi³³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: Josephine Gordon| T: M Botti| OR: 69| C

12/1

Winning debut here in December. Recoiled from that effort when last of 4 in novice event at Haydock (8f, soft, 11/2) 33 days ago. Makes handicap debut but it's still early days and she can bounce back.

Form: 1-4

(10)

Mammy²³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: Callum Shepherd| T: M L W Bell| OR: 66

8/1

Respectable fourth of 8 in handicap (11/1) at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 23 days ago. Makes polytrack debut and return to 7f will suit.

Form: 957-324

(3)

Lady Ava^v1²³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: J Mitchell| T: E A L Dunlop| OR: 66| D

9/1

17/2, bit below form fifth of 9 in handicap at Wetherby (7f, good to firm) 23 days ago, slowly away. Visor replaces cheekpieces in bid to sharpen her up.

Form: 6231-85

(2)

6/1

Failed to get home when eighth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f, 4/1) 22 days ago. Drop in trip therefore looks a good move.

Form: 273-478

(8)

Crocus Time¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: Alec Voikhansky⁽³⁾| T: R Hannon| OR: 64

20/1

Right back on her game when fourth of 10 in handicap at Salisbury (6f, good to firm) 15 days ago, keeping on when snatched up. Return to 7f well worth a go and she has to be of interest.

Form: 78-7264

(1)

Daphne May³⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 9-1| J: Anna Gibson⁽⁷⁾| T: G & J Moore| OR: 55| CD

25/1

C&D winner. Creditable sixth of 10 in handicap at Chelmsford City (7f, 16/1) 34 days ago given she was awkward out of the stalls. This trip probably on the sharp side.

Form: 880666

(12)

Cherry Hill³²

Age: 3| Weight: 8-13| J: Hollie Doyle| T: D J S Ffrench Davis| OR: 62| CD

40/1

C&D winner. 33/1, last of 10 in handicap at Salisbury (7f, good) 32 days ago, racing freely and understandably weakening out of it on what was her reappearance.

Form: 3P310-0

(4)

Flavor²⁶¹

Age: 3| Weight: 8-13| J: N Callan| T: J Butler| OR: 62

33/1

Fifth of 8 in novice event at Pontefract (10f, good to soft, 80/1), merely passing beaten rivals. Off 8 months and interesting what the market makes of her now handicapping (mark stiff on the face of it).

Form: 775-

(9)

Tronido²²

Age: 3| Weight: 8-13| J: Paddy Bradley| T: S Dow| OR: 62| D

10/1

Totally different proposition on fourth start when winning 10-runner handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW) 22 days ago, relishing change of tactics. Up 9 lb but she was value for plenty extra. Shortlisted.

Form: 0-301

Forecasts

Valtellina (11/10), Lumiere d'Or (6/1), Mammy (8/1), Lady Ava (9/1), Tronido (10/1), Alabama Anna (10/1), Mizuumi (12/1), Stella Hogan (12/1), Capuchinero (14/1), Crocus Time (20/1), Daphne May (25/1), Liberty Mountain (33/1), Flavor (33/1), Cherry Hill (40/1)

VALTELLINA's AW record is a positive one, keeping on for a close-up third over C&D 3 weeks ago, and with the runner-up that day advertising the form since, she's a major player up 1 lb. Tronido was impressive at Lingfield and can remain competitive from her revised mark, with Alabama Anna also considered with Oisin Murphy taking over.
