Career best when winning 6-runner handicap at Newmarket (1¾m, good to firm) last month but not in the same form when only eighth of 12 to Dark Moon Rising at Hamilton since.
Tends to give himself a lot to do with slow starts but he struck at the second time of asking for this yard over 1½m at Hamilton last month. Respectable 5 lengths sixth of 12 to Dark Moon Rising back at Hamilton (13f, good to firm) since, never nearer after a very slow beginning.
Bounced back to form with a bang in refitted blinkers when winning 12-runner handicap (28/1) at Hamilton (13f, good to firm) 14 days ago, digging deep. His overall record would suggest he's no good thing to build on that.
Successful over this trip at Goodwood (heavy) in May and shaped as if still in form when a well-held third of 12 at Salisbury since.
Latest win at Wolverhampton in February. 9/2, creditable third of 6 over 1½m at Kempton last month and met trouble when recording a rare below-par effort back there since.
Creditable efforts on both starts this term, latterly finishing 4 lengths third of 10 to the reopposing Churchella at Doncaster (14.5f, firm). Also acts on heavy.
C&D winner last month. Creditable 4¾ lengths fifth of 12 to Dark Moon Rising in handicap at Hamilton (13f, good to firm) a fortnight ago. Another who can't be discounted.
Recorded a third win of the year when opening her turf account in 10-runner handicap at Doncaster (14.5f) last month. Creditable fourth back there since despite a steadily-run race not bringing her stamina into play. Respected.
Course winner. Creditable fifth of 9 in handicap (33/1) at Doncaster (1½m, good) 16 days ago, not ideally placed.
Opened his account over 2m here in August 2022. Not seen since a poor run at Beverley a year ago but he returns with his stable in fine form. One to note in the betting.
Hasn't finished out of the first 3 since handicapping. Creditable 3¼ lengths third of 8 to Dark Jedi over C&D on latest outing 6 weeks ago (final start for Hugo Palmer). Each-way claims now setting out for a new stable.
Useful at his peak for Roger Varian and left his first 2 efforts for this yard behind when third of 7 over 1½m here 9 days ago. Needs to build on that now.
Progressed well in 2023 and started her 2024 campaign in positive fashion when second of 7 over 2m at Nottingham last month. Has to enter the reckoning.
Dual winner over staying trips last term who has recorded creditable runner-up efforts at Catterick and Nottingham in recent weeks. Likely to be in the shake-up again.
Lightly-raced sort who had something to spare when getting off the mark in a 13-runner Hamilton handicap (11f, good to firm) under Amie Waugh 14 days ago. A 6 lb rise doesn't look enough to stop him with further progress on the cards, particularly over this sort of trip.

Letsbefrank (4/1), Rathgar (11/2), Banderas (15/2), Marbuzet (8/1), Dark Moon Rising (9/1), Churchella (11/1), Dark Jedi (12/1), Kitsune Power (14/1), Valley Of Flowers (14/1), Geremia (14/1), Hope You Can Run (16/1), Fleur De Mer (18/1), Billy No Mates (20/1), The Predictor (20/1), Artisan Dancer (50/1)
LETSBEFRANK appeals as one who should have more to offer on the back of his convincing Hamilton success and can make light of a 6 lb rise with the step up to 1¾m likely to suit him on breeding. Valley of Flowers made good progress in 2023 and an encouraging reappearance at Nottingham suggests she's set for another productive campaign so she's feared most. Churchella and Marbuzet also make the shortlist.
