Offered something to work on having shown his inexperience when sixth of 12 in minor event (28/1) at Kempton (8f) on debut 6 months ago, not knocked about. Can do better again as a 3-y-o on that evidence.

Modest form in 2 runs at 2 yrs. Off 9 months/gelded. First run for yard after leaving Owen Burrows. Others make more appeal.

Blue Point gelding. Dam, 13.3f winner, sister to 2000 Guineas third Gan Amhras and smart stayer Forever Now. Starts out with his yard amongst the winners and market confidence behind him would look significant with William Buick aboard.

32,000 gns foal, 240,000 gns yearling, Masar gelding. Starts out in a winnable race representing yard very much amongst the winners so worth noting if the market speaks in his favour.

Twice-raced maiden. Eighth of 11 in minor event (18/1) at Chepstow (7.1f, good) 11 days ago. Debut effort at Newbury previously certainly contained promise but he could be one for handicaps moving forward.

Promising sort. 16/1, left debut form behind when fifth of 11 in maiden at Bath (8f, good) on return 27 days ago. Should still have more to offer yet and she's one to consider.

Forecasts

Amsterdam (2/1), Ravishing Beauty (10/3), Jodhpur Blue (5/1), Drumstick (6/1), Perennial (11/1), Sarmiento Power (12/1), Harmoniser (14/1), Happy Chandler (28/1), C'mon Pompey (80/1), King Of Codes (200/1), Capital Love (250/1)

Verdict

Market support for one of the newcomers would need to be viewed positively but RAVISHING BEAUTY readily surpassed the form she showed on her only start as a 2-y-o when an encouraging fifth on return at Bath 4 weeks ago and gets the narrow vote with further progress anticipated. Jodhpur Blue is a debutant to note, with Ed Walker's pair Amsterdam and Perennial others to monitor.
