Shaped encouragingly at big odds when fourth of 15 in maiden at Windsor (6f, good to firm, 66/1) on debut 17 days ago, finishing well after not clear run entering final 1f. Should have more to offer.

Brian (10/3), Cool Hoof Luke (7/2), Invincible Crown (4/1), Lovestruck Romeo (11/2), Enchanted Eye (13/2), Adelaide Bay (14/1), Flor Do Rio (14/1), Perfect Sight (14/1), Diomed Duke (22/1), Pay Attention (28/1), Freak Encounter (33/1)

Verdict

BRIAN finished with running left after meeting trouble when fourth on debut at Windsor recently so, granted better luck in-running, Sylvester Kirk's colt is fancied to get off the mark at the expense of debutant Cool Hoof Luke, who represents the in-form Andrew Balding yard and ticks plenty of boxes on paper. This step up in trip should suit Lovestruck Romeo so he can edge out sole filly Flor Do Rio for third.
