Lett debut form well behind to get off the mark in 7-runner C&D maiden in September, leading final 1f and always doing enough. Looks capable of better again now attentions switch to handicaps on return.
Looked unlucky not to score at Carlisle (5.8f) in September and built on promise of that run when opening his account at Nottingham (6f, heavy) later that month, just holding on. Changed hands for 26,000gns/gelded ahead of return and that may not prove his limit. Cheekpieces left off.
Lightly-raced maiden who ran best race to date when second of 5 on handicap debut at Newcastle (6f) 11 days ago, hanging left over 2f out. Blinkers now the headgear of choice and he hasn't been totally convincing under pressure. Turf debut.
Promise at big odds when third on debut at Newcastle (6f) in September and run out a convincing winner over 7f here a month later. Not in same form when sixth of 7 in novice event under a penalty at first-named venue later that month but it remains early days now handicapping on return.
Lightly-raced maiden who posted best effort in novice/maidens when second over C&D in September. Didn't settle well enough back from 5 months off/upped in trip when fourth of 12 in novice event at Wolverhampton 2 weeks ago but that may well have taken the freshness out of him now handicapping.
Much improved when opening her account in a Pontefract maiden (5f) in July. Exploits proved mixed thereafter, eighth of 12 in nursery at Wolverhampton (6f0 when last seen in November. Market should prove a useful guide on return with yard also saddling Artistic Mission.
Maiden who comes here fit and in form from all-weather, running just about his best race yet when second of 10 in handicap at Southwell (6.1f) 8 days ago, reeled in late on by an improver. Should go well again back on turf nudged up 1 lb.
Ended last term with a respectable second of 11 in handicap at Newcastle (6f) in October. Similar form despite not settling fully when fifth on return at that venue 16 days ago but present mark looks to demand some progress.
Lightly-raced maiden. 5/1, bit below form fifth of 13 in nursery at Leicester (7f, good) in October, ridden over 2f out and not quicken. Gelded subsequently and the market may prove a useful guide back from 6 months off.
Thrice-raced maiden who posted a good third of 5 in maiden at Newcastle (6f, 200/1) 12 days ago. Could do better now handicapping from a low base.

Forecasts
Shelbourne (7/2), Knicks (7/2), Artistic Mission (5/1), Soul Singer (13/2), Miss Rainbow (17/2), Act Of Violence (10/1), Princess Alex (14/1), Batal Dandy (16/1), Last Applause (20/1), Born To Charm (25/1)
SOUL SINGER needs to prove his effectiveness on this ground but he's been knocking firmly on the door on all-weather in recent weeks and could well be the way to go. Shelbourne, with a reappearance run under his belt, is feared back on turf along with Knicks, who will have no issues with forecast conditions. C&D winner Act of Violence is another who can do better this campaign.

- Shelbourne7/2
