Looked badly in need of the experience when fifth of 6 in minor event (4/1) at Lingfield (10f, AW) on debut 32 days ago, very slowly away. Will surely improve on that initial effort, possibly by quite a bit.

9/4, showed bundles to work on once more when second of 4 in maiden at Pontefract (12f, good to soft) 19 days ago, outstayed by a stronger stayer but pulling clear of rest. Remains capable of better and may prove hard to beat.

Twice-raced maiden. Sixth of 12 in maiden (3/1) at Kempton (7f) 12 days ago, left poorly placed. Significantly up in trip. Worth another chance to build on her debut promise.

Dubawi filly. Sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Kazimiera and useful 1m-1¼m winner Franz Kafka and half-sister to useful 1¼m-1¾m winner Charles Kingsley. Wears hood and interesting to see which way she goes in the betting.

Forecasts

Lord Melbourne (7/4), Incremental (9/4), Man Of Monaco (5/1), Inspiritus (7/1), Enrico Caruso (8/1), Romilda (8/1), Daydream Express (11/1), Assail (12/1), Karriewhitchit (20/1), Didactic Patrick (66/1), Apolo (66/1), Sir Cilia (150/1), A Touch Of Silver (150/1), Total Master (200/1), Manny Boy (250/1)

Verdict

Plenty in with chances but LORD MELBOURNE showed bundles to work on once again when runner-up at Pontefract recently and, with further progress on the cards, he's fancied to make it third time lucky dropped back to 1¼m for his all-weather debut. Incremental showed promise amidst greenness when fourth at Kempton back in April and he may emerge as the main danger having been gelded/moved yards since. Daydream Express and newcomer Karriewhitchit round off the shortlist.
