6/1, bit below form fifth of 9 in handicap at Pontefract (6f, good) 68 days ago. Posted a couple of solid efforts in defeat prior to that and, with conditions no problem, he's not discounted.
Thirteen runs since last win in 2022. Creditable third of 13 in handicap at Salisbury (6f, heavy, 8/1) 11 days ago. Likely to be in the mix.
Two wins from 6 runs this year, the latest at Leicester in July. Fourth of 7 in handicap at Chester (6.1f, soft, 7/1) 30 days ago, unable to sustain effort. Now 2 lb lower and she's one to consider.
Promising type. Last of 8 in handicap (10/3) at Pontefract (6f, good to soft) 18 days ago. A line can be drawn through that display and very much of interest given his 2-y-o promise.
Three wins from 8 runs this year, the latest at Goodwood in May. Eleventh of 13 in handicap at Bath (5.7f, soft, 11/2) 14 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time and he looks vulnerable.
C&D winner in May. 11/1, last of 10 in handicap at Yarmouth (6f, good to soft) 27 days ago. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
Course winner in May. Below form fifth of 10 in handicap at Goodwood (6f, good to soft, 18/1) 19 days ago. Others more persuasive on balance.
Bit below form fourth of 13 in handicap (3/1) at Salisbury (6f, heavy) 11 days ago, not ideally placed. Cheekpieces on 1st time and should make his presence felt.
One win from 22 Flat runs. First run since leaving Iain Jardine when twelfth of 16 in handicap (16/1) at York (6f, good), slowly away. Off 93 days. Cheekpieces back on.
C&D winner. Seventh of 11 in handicap at Yarmouth (6f, good to soft, 7/1) 26 days ago. Looks up against it.

Forecasts
Amazonian Dream (3/1), Tiriac (5/1), Momaer (6/1), Harry's Halo (6/1), Snuggle (13/2), Tribal Hunter (13/2), Silent Flame (11/1), Miss Bella Brand (16/1), Umming N' Ahing (25/1), Abolish (40/1)
TRIBAL HUNTER was well-backed ahead of his belated reappearance at Pontefract, but didn't get the opportunity to show what he could do (hampered turning for home and also encountered traffic problems in the straight) and improvement may well be forthcoming. He gets the nod ahead of Momaer, who was drawn wide at Chester last time and the return to a more conventional track here will help. Tiriac is third choice ahead of Amazonian Dream and Harry's Halo.
- Tribal Hunter13/2
- Momaer6/1
