Much improved from debut after leaving Alice Haynes when easily won 8-runner maiden at Lingfield (5f, AW, 13/8) 19 days ago, quickening to lead final 1f. Should have more to offer.

Promising sort. 6/4, added to a promising start despite having missed more than a year since his debut when second of 12 in minor event at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) 30 days ago, edged out line. Open to further improvement.

Hinted at ability despite going off a big price when 9½ lengths eighth of 10 to Electric Storm in minor event at this course (7f, 80/1) on debut 33 days ago.

Left her debut form well behind when an excellent second to subsequent dual Group 2 winner Sumo Sam in a maiden at Newmarket (7f, good) 11 months ago and, with further improvement on the cards, she may well take some stopping provided she's ready to roll.

Forecasts

Vultar (9/4), Electric Storm (5/2), Alexi Boy (11/4), Silvretta (10/3), Mr Mustache (14/1), Pride Of Spain (16/1), Maid For Harry (40/1), Top Button (50/1), Indie Skies (250/1), Kodi Hawk (250/1)

Verdict

SILVRETTA was narrowly denied by subsequent dual Group 2 scorer Sumo Sam when last seen in a Newmarket maiden 11 months ago so provided she's ready to roll Andrew Balding's filly should take plenty of stopping. She can get the better of Vultar, who has filled the runner-up spot on both starts so far and may have to settle for another silver medal, with Alexi Boy and Electric Storm also fancied to be in the shake-up.
