Bumper/hurdles winner who was much improved from his return/chase debut when taking C&D novice handicap 25 days ago, staying on well under this rider. Up 5 lb but should have more in the tank.

Inconsistent sort who has drawn a blank since winning a Wincanton Grade 2 in November 2019, shaping like one with problems. Showed nothing starting out for new yard at Chepstow in October but this is a drop in class.

50/1 winner on handicap bow over hurdles here (19.5f) a year ago and unlucky not to make a successful chasing debut after 9 months off at Bangor, 3 lengths up and seemingly in control when slithered on landing last, losing considerable momentum/ground. Same mark but no banker to back that up.

Successful twice over this sort of trip last year and may have needed Leicester hurdles return. Not badly treated if bouncing back.

Suited by the step up to this trip when scoring with something to spare over hurdles here in January. Not gone on since though, falling on return/chase debut and offering little once headed at Exeter 29 days ago.

Opened her hurdling account at Fontwell on return last term and made a promising start in this sphere when clear second in 19.4f Wetherby mares' handicap in January. Failed to complete both starts since 9 months apart, though.

Impressive winner on first go over fences at Stratford (20.9f) in October but has fallen twice since, not jumping so well off the pace in race won by Bill Baxter here latest.

Bumper scorer who cemented a positive start to his career when making second hurdles start a winning one at Chepstow in February. Didn't jump too fluently on that occasion and now reappears over the larger obstacles, but could have more to offer.

Fairly useful hurdler (campaigned in France last season) returned to form from out of the blue sent chasing on return when 6½ lengths third to Bill Baxter here last month, not foot perfect but seemingly enthused by the task sent to the front. Not out of it if backing that up in cheekpieces.

Made a good start last season, winning heavy-ground Ffos Las bumper and Fontwell maiden hurdle. Chasing always going to be his game and he makes plenty of appeal up in trip on return.

Dual winner over fences at Chepstow but took little interest on return there 16 days ago. Tricky to fancy.
