Fair form over fences in France in 2020 and twice runner-up over hurdles for Ed de Giles last year. Back chasing for current yard, built on his return when off the mark at Ffos Las (23.8f) last month. Leading contender.
Steadily progressive for bulk of last season at this sort of level for Tim Reed (stiff task final outing). Looked rusty after 9 months off on seasonal/stable debut at Hexham 13 days ago. Could do better with that run behind him.
Ex-Irish hurdler/chaser who continues to fall in the weights for current yard without looking like taking advantage. Twelve runs since his only win back in March last year.
Campaigned largely over fences in recent years, winning at Carlisle (24.5f) in February. However, ended last season on a low note and again pulled up over hurdles on return. Back chasing but others more persuasive.
Proved suited by the step up in trip when second in handicap chase at Sedgefield (21.1f) in October. Respectable third back at the same course (19.3f) earlier this month, rallying late on. Can go well over this longer distance.
Confirmed previous promise when off the mark in handicap at this C&D in March. Not in the same form next time, but better than ever when runner-up at Sedgefield (26.9f) on return. Can give another good account.
Opened account in 27f Sedgefield handicap chase in April and only just denied at Hexham the following month. Good run of form halted at Cartmel next time, though tongue tie tried that day is quickly discarded. Could bounce back.
Finally got off the mark in 6-runner handicap chase at Hexham (24.2f) in March, but hasn't been in the same form since. Back down to his winning mark, though still looks to be up against it here.
Won a match at this C&D a year ago but has gone the wrong way subsequently. Looked rusty after 8 months off at Stratford 21 days ago, though remains with enough to prove at present.
Showed little in 3 starts over hurdles since returning from a break in September and fared no better back over fences at Kelso (17.1f) last month.
Remains with little form, again struggling from out of the handicap (in first-time tongue tie) when fourth of 6 at this course (20.1f) when last seen in March.

Faitque De L'Isle (7/4), Quiet Flow (4/1), Ballintogher Boy (9/2), Catlin (13/2), Well Cliche (10/1), Chase The Wind (12/1), Welsh Reign (14/1), Castlegrange (16/1), Old Jewry (20/1), Skyhill (25/1), Hidden Cargo (40/1), Black Opium (66/1)
Upped in trip, FAITQUE DE L'ISLE built on his reappearance when off the mark at Ffos Las last month and the 7-y-o could have more to offer at this distance. He can follow up, with Quiet Flow feared most as he tries this trip for the first time. Ballintogher Boy completes the shortlist.
