17/2

Eleven runs since last win in 2021. 33/1 and cheekpieces on for 1st time, creditable fourth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (12.1f) 27 days ago. Mark has eased a little more and he's one to consider.

Arabian Warrior^v³¹

Age: 5| Weight: 10-2| J: K T O'Neill| T: S bin Suroor| OR: 75| C

10/1

Course winner. Latest win at Newcastle (12.5f) in June. Fifth of 6 in handicap back at that venue (12.4f) 31 days ago. Visor again the headgear of choice and he's not out of things eased in class.

Form: 361465

Lady Percival¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-10| J: F Norton| T: H Morrison| OR: 69| BF| C

9/2

Course winner. 7/2, good ¾-length second of 11 to Seal of Solomon in handicap at this course (16.6f) 19 days ago, running on. 2 lb higher now but she's another expected to go well again.

Form: 374732

Seal Of Solomon^v¹⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: P J McDonald| T: E A L Dunlop| OR: 73| C

5/1

4 wins from 12 runs this year. 6/1, career best when winning 11-runner handicap at this course (16.6f) 19 days ago by ¾ length from Lady Percival, closed down only late on. Enters calculations.

Form: 114431

(4)

Golden Keeper^p²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: K Stott| T: S Woods| OR: 73

11/1

Winner at Beverley (12f) in August. Fourth of 5 in handicap (17/2) at Southwell (12.1f) 22 days ago. Looks no more than averagely treated on balance.

Form: 845144

(5)

Seeola^h³⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-6| J: Cameron Noble| T: R Varian| OR: 72

3/1

Sea The Stars filly. Not without promise in novice/maiden company and took a step forward to make winning handicap debut at Newcastle (12.5f) in September, responding well when tackled. Of interest again given low-mileage profile.

Form: 5341

(10)

Socially Shady^v²⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 9-5| J: S H James| T: K R Burke| OR: 64| C

25/1

Unreliable type. Course winner. Seventh of 10 in handicap (12/1) at Ayr (13.1f, heavy) 25 days ago, slowly away and labouring 4f out. Return to AW rates a likely plus but others make greater appeal on balance.

Form: 258437

(8)

Myriad⁵⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: P Cosgrave| T: R Hughes| OR: 70

9/2

Latest win at Kempton (12f) in August. Remained in form since, creditable third of 8 in handicap at Kempton (2m) 54 days ago, having run of race. Still, he can't be ruled out in this groove for all his mark is creeping up.

Form: 426123

(2)

Kitten's Dream^b¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-4| J: D Swift| T: S Dixon| OR: 63| CD

18/1

Latest win over C&D in August. 17/2, creditable fourth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (14.1f) 11 days ago, very slowly away. Others more persuasive.

Form: 312334

(6)

Zillion¹⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 9-2| J: D C Costello| T: Mrs S Gardner| OR: 61

50/1

Respectable 6¼ lengths sixth of 11 to Seal of Solomon in handicap (33/1) at this course (16.6f) 19 days ago, albeit unable to land a blow. Mark has eased a little more.

Form: 408-206

Forecasts

Seeola (3/1), Lady Percival (9/2), Myriad (9/2), Seal Of Solomon (5/1), Blow Your Horn (17/2), Arabian Warrior (10/1), Golden Keeper (11/1), Kitten's Dream (18/1), Socially Shady (25/1), Zillion (50/1)

SEAL OF SOLOMON relished the longer trip when resuming winning ways over the extended 2m trip here 3 weeks ago and he can follow up with the drop back in trip expected to hold no fears on that evidence. Lady Percival, runner-up to the selection then, can figure again but the main threat may come from class-dropping Blow Your Horn who got back on track when fourth at Southwell recently. Seeola completes the shortlist.
