Off time: 17:00 | Winning time: 59.08s

(1)

Florida Filly⁵⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 10-0| J: Mark Winn⁽⁵⁾| T: I Jardine| OR: 80| D

9/2

Fairly useful filly who gained her second win at Hamilton in July. Below form both starts since (reportedly returned lame last time) but her best efforts would give her frame claims in this company.

Form: 741163

(4)

Champagne Sarah²⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Rob Hornby| T: M Murphy & M Keady

33/1

Twice-raced maiden. 100/1, went with little fluency when fifth of 7 in minor event at this course (6f) 28 days ago. Set for another struggle.

Form: 95

(5)

Dakota Elegance⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: S M Levey| T: B J Meehan

5/2

Bred for longer trips but progressed from debut when third of 12 in minor event at Kempton (6f) 8 days ago. Sets the standard on form, though drop back to 5f is a concern.

Form: 53

(3)

Radio Goo Goo²¹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Ray Dawson| T: P D Evans| OR: 75

5/4

In frame 5 of 6 career starts, most recently when second of 10 in maiden at this C&D 21 days ago. Bit more exposed than most here but ranks high on the shortlist.

Form: 432522

(2)

Stocks Park

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Charlie Bennett| T: R Brisland

100/1

Foaled April 24. Mayson filly. Dam unraced half-sister to very smart winner up to 6f Inxile. Makes little appeal on paper.

Form:

(6)

Sabah Al Ward³⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: David Egan| T: R Hughes

4/1

Once-raced maiden. Fourth of 8 in minor event at Lingfield (5f, AW, 5/1) on debut 36 days ago. Seems sure to do better and should be well in the mix.

Form: 4

(8)

Friends Together³⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 8-12| J: Callum Shepherd| T: Rae Guest

80/1

Once-raced maiden. 16/1, seventh of 8 in minor event at Lingfield (5f, AW) on debut 36 days ago. One for longer trips further down the line.

Form: 7

(9)

Secretary²¹

Age: 2| Weight: 8-12| J: Christian Howarth⁽⁵⁾| T: H Spiller

150/1

Down the field in maiden and minor event here and looks opposable once again.

Form: 79

Forecasts

Radio Goo Goo (5/4), Dakota Elegance (5/2), Sabah Al Ward (4/1), Florida Filly (9/2), Canadian Fire (8/1), Champagne Sarah (33/1), Friends Together (80/1), Stocks Park (100/1), Secretary (150/1)

SABAH AL WARD showed a fair amount to work on first time up at Lingfield and a chance is taken that she'll be able to improve beyond Radio Goo Goo. Dakota Elegance is another player if coping with the drop in trip, whilst Canadian Fire also holds claims.
