Back-to-back winner of handicaps at Haydock this year, latterly over 14f in July. Not seen to best effect in a falsely-run race there 3 weeks ago but she's a likely type to bounce back.
Multiple course winner who landed handicaps at Hamilton/Kempton back in the spring. Exploits have been more miss than hit more recently but not one to write off returned to this venue having not been disgraced here on his penultimate start.
Well treated and has posted a couple of respectable efforts the last twice, again third over 15.9f at this course 5 weeks ago. He's on a long-losing streak, but should give his running.
Successful for the third time this season at Sandown (14f) in July and found just one too good at Newmarket next time. Ran creditably without any excuses in a stronger affair at Haydock latest and this at least is less demanding.
Remains a maiden but wasted no time getting back to form when again finding only one too good at Chelmsford (14f) 9 days ago. No reason why he won't give another good account from this mark.
Nathaniel gelding who, despite running green, showed improved form when staying on to finish runner-up on handicap debut at Newbury (12f) in August. Similar form when fourth of 10 at Newcastle (12.5f) since and there could be more to come now tackling 14f.
Took advantage of drop in weights (in refitted tongue tie) when scoring over 12.3f here in June. However, only one effort of any note in 4 subsequent runs and others boast stronger claims.
In good form on AW/turf earlier this year but losing run is mounting up and recent efforts haven't been anywhere near so inspiring.
Belatedly added to sole previous success when landing 8-runner handicap here (10.3f) in July. Creditable second at Carlisle (11f) on his penultimate start but never figured from off the pace over extended 15f back here 5 weeks ago. Type to bounce back.
Confirmed reappearance promise when running out a convincing winner at Redcar (14f) in May. Has yet to find any further progress in 2 subsequent outings but too soon to be writing him off.
Improved when grabbing share of the spoils at Haydock (10f.2) in June. Lost way in handful of starts thereafter but did at least return to form (in first-time blinkers) when third over 13f at Ayr last week. Task is to back that up here.
Landed a Leicester novice (7f) on first of 3 starts as a juvenile. Similar form when second in handicap at Hamilton (9f) in May but not built on that at up to 12f more recently. Up further in trip now.

There have been definite signs of encouragement in handicaps over shorter from NOVEL LEGEND of late and James Fanshawe's son of Nathaniel could well be the answer here now his stamina is tested a little more. Fellow 3-y-o Pub Crawl has run plenty of good races without getting his head in front and rates a player, along with Mancini, whilst Claritudo shouldn't be written off either.
