Sampers Seven³²

Age: 5| Weight: 9-12| J: Callum Shepherd| T: M Appleby| OR: 84| D

4/1

Front-runner. Dual 5f scorer during 2020 who missed last year but proved she retains all her ability this term, finishing a good third at Chester on her last 2 outings. Much respected back on AW.

Form: 2/20533

Instinction²¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-5| J: Harry Russell⁽³⁾| T: B Smart| OR: 78| D

3/1

Good second of 8 in C&D handicap 21 days ago. Likely to be in the shake-up if showing up here in similar form.

Form: 3-46722

(3)

Amor De Mi Vida^p¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-3| J: L Morris| T: A Watson| OR: 75| D

25/1

Pair of 5f turf wins in midsummer but her run of good form has come to a halt the last twice. Return to AW needs to help spark her back to life.

Form: 121250

(5)

Four Adaay²⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 9-3| J: Lewis Edmunds| T: B R Millman| OR: 75| D

13/2

Latest win at Nottingham in May. 12/1, sixth of 8 in handicap at Salisbury (6f, good to firm) 20 days ago, left poorly placed. Others more persuasive.

Form: 4-32156

(4)

Amber Dew^b⁶¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Jefferson Smith| T: S Dixon| OR: 75

6/1

Fourteenth of 15 in handicap (10/1) at York (5.4f, good to firm) 61 days ago. The Fact she was second on her previous visit here provides hope of a revival. Blinkers also go on for just a second time.

Form: 568070

(2)

Colombe^t⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 9-0| J: Connor Planas⁽⁷⁾| T: G Boughey| OR: 72| D

5/1

Latest win at Bath in May. Creditable second of 10 in handicap (5/1) at Yarmouth (5f, good) 8 days ago, just failing. Contender off the same mark.

Form: 162732

(8)

Riversway¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 8-11| J: Barry McHugh| T: Miss J A Camacho| OR: 70| D

5/1

Won at Doncaster in July and Chester (5f, good to firm) in August. Found a York Class 3 too much to handle last time but may resume her progression back in these slightly calmer waters.

Form: 705110

(7)

Second Collection⁴⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 8-11| J: K T O'Neill| T: A W Carroll| OR: 69| D

28/1

7/4, didn't need to improve to win 3-runner handicap at Windsor (5f, good to firm) 45 days ago, just holding on. Only nudged up 1 lb but this is a good deal more competitive.

Form: 673661

(9)

Lucky Shake³²

Age: 3| Weight: 8-8| J: G Lee| T: P T Midgley| OR: 67| D

40/1

Good ¾-length second of 10 to reopposing Riversway in handicap (33/1) at Chester (5f, good to firm) 32 days ago. Thereabouts if in the same form but consistency doesn't appear to be her strong suit.

Form: 025232

Non-Runners

(1)

Kape Moss⁶

Weight: 9-7| Age: 3

T: D Loughnane J: Non Runner

Forecasts

Instinction (3/1), Sampers Seven (4/1), Riversway (5/1), Colombe (5/1), Amber Dew (6/1), Four Adaay (13/2), Kape Moss (12/1), Amor De Mi Vida (25/1), Second Collection (28/1), Lucky Shake (40/1)

SAMPERS SEVEN arrives on the back of a couple of fine efforts in Class 2 events at Chester and it's possible this speedy front-runner will be able to dominate her rivals in this slightly lower grade. Last week's Yarmouth runner-up Colombe is feared most ahead of Instinction.
