Useful 6f winner at his best who wasn't disgraced when third of 5 to Aleezdancer at Ripon (6f) 25 days ago. Eased 1 lb and possibilities.
33/1 and visored first time, seventh of 11 in handicap at Kempton (6f) 24 days ago. Blinkers back on. Back on a favourable mark but hard to be sure he's in good enough form to take advantage.
Winning starts for this yard at Chelmsford (6f) in June. Good second on his next 2 starts but his form has dipped the last twice. Possible first-time cheekpieces could him to help him bounce back to form.
Looked very useful when winning 3 of his first 4 starts. That makes his 3 subsequent runs a little disappointing but there's still time for him to get his career back on track.
Won this race in 2018 and 2019. Added to his tally at Doncaster in March and last month's Ayr third show he turns up here in reasonable form. No surprise if he makes a bold bid to win this for a third time.
Doubled his career tally when dominating a small field over C&D 16 days ago. More on his plate off 10 lb higher in a deeper race but he's a relatively lightly raced 3-y-o so it's possible he could have more to offer.

Forecasts
Haymaker (5/2), Tanmawwy (4/1), Emperor Spirit (4/1), Chairmanoftheboard (6/1), Bernardo O'Reilly (8/1), Gisburn (9/1), Punchbowl Flyer (10/1), Capote's Dream (16/1), Fai Fai (20/1)
CHAIRMANOFTHEBOARD is back on his last winning mark so might be worth chancing in a contest where a few have question marks against them at present. Bernardo O'Reilly has a good record in this race so he's another who could go well. Emperor Spirit could also have a big say if first-time headgear has a positive effect.
