Useful sort who benefited from a drop in grade when second at Chester 8 days ago. Should remain competitive.
Fairly useful form on the Flat in France for Andre Fabre but hard to fancy based on what he's done in two hurdling outings for current stable. Returns from 4 months off.
Back to last winning mark and, while she only has one creditable effort to her name this year (ran poorly at York last time), she's not one to take lightly.
4-time C&D winner who is on a long losing run and often lets himself down at the start. Mark has slipped and he's back at this track for the first time in 2022.
Produced a career best in first-time cheekpieces back on turf when second at Ripon last month. Failed to back it up in a visor at Epsom, though, and stall 10 won't help.
Quickened up well to resume winning ways at Southwell (1m) in January. Plenty of solid efforts in defeat have followed, respectable sixth at York last time. Mark has eased 2 lb since, but this is a competitive event.
Fairly useful filly who gave it a good go from the front when third of 5 at Ripon last time. Tongue tie now applied, but her stamina for this trip isn't assured.
Going the right way since upped to this trip and was well on top when scoring at Doncaster recently. Another bold showing is on the cards if she can get across from stall 11.
Fair form when reaching the frame on 3 of his 4 outings as a juvenile and made an encouraging reappearance when fifth at this course 13 days ago. Could do better up in trip with cheekpieces fitted.

Forecasts
Love Is Golden (5/2), Highwaygrey (11/4), El Picador (9/2), Dungar Glory (11/2), Mackenzie Rose (15/2), Bollin Margaret (9/1), Freddy Robinson (11/1), Taj Alola (12/1), Restorer (14/1), Visibility (20/1), Piecederesistance (80/1)
The way EL PICADOR breezed past the field at Musselburgh last time marked him down as well ahead of the handicapper and, if getting the breaks, he can prove the point at the likely expense of the Mark Johnston-trained pair Love Is Golden and Mackenzie Rose.
