Ulysses filly who ran best race in novice company when third of over 10f at Redcar last month. Should hold more chance now handicapping with stamina drawn out further.

Promise when fourth on debut at Wolverhampton (9.5f) and dispelled lesser effort when 6 lengths fourth of 11 in a Salisbury novice (9.9f) 4 weeks ago. Another entitled to hold more chance now handicapping and worth a check in betting for positive vibes.

Consistency hard to knock in various forms of headgear, filling runners-up spot for fifth successive start at Doncaster (10.2f) 6 days ago. Can make his presence felt again.

Lightly-raced winner who ran up to best equipped with first-time blinkers when fifth at Salisbury (12f) last month, albeit seeming to lack a change of gear. Eased 3 lb subsequently which can only help now.

Stepped up on first 2 starts when going down narrowly in a Kempton maiden (1m) in December. Probably needed last month's Lingfield return/handicap debut over 10f in May and possible he'll step up on that now.

Encouraging second on final start at Kempton (1m) in December and, having been gelded, took a step forward to open account at Goodwood (9.9f) in April. Respectable third at Leicester has followed and he's worth considering again.

Landed a 1m nursery last summer and hit frame on 2 of last 3 starts as a juvenile. Yet to build on those exploits so far this campaign, fourth of 7 in minor event (8/1) at Salisbury (9.9f, good to firm) 12 days ago. Back up in trip.

Churchill filly who showed some promise on first 2 starts in AW maidens at up to 11f earlier this year. Never figured having gone in snatches at Kempton (12f) latest but type to do better now handicapping and interesting the visor is reached for.

Thrice-raced maiden. 200/1, seventh of 9 in maiden at Newbury (10f, good) 21 days ago. Goes back up in trip for handicap debut and another requiring a check in the betting for clues.

Belardo gelding who ended time with Marco Botti in disappointing fashion on AW earlier this year. Acquired for 5,500 gns by new yard in February but he's tough to assess on balance.

Forecasts

Al Azhar (15/8), Greatness Awaits (4/1), They Don't Know (11/2), Rendition (7/1), Geelong (15/2), Blenheim Belle (12/1), Locksmith (16/1), Promoting (22/1), Corsini (22/1), Shorts On (40/1), Penna Rossa (80/1)

Verdict

AL AZHAR has improved for the step up to 1¼m, successful at Goodwood prior to a respectable third at Leicester 24 days ago. This step up in trip may unlock further improvement (dam 1½m winner who stayed 2m) and he's of interest once more. They Don't Know is proving most consistent and is feared, whilst Blenheim Belle is an intriguing contender now handicapping in a first-time visor and is also worth a look.
