Quite useful dual winner for Roger Varian but absent since finishing fourth at Ascot (1m) last July and new connections picked him up for just £2,200 in December. Likely he's best watched.
Smart handicapper in his prime but those days seem to be behind him and he was labouring a long way out when sixth of 8 on his Sandown reappearance a fortnight ago. Cheekpieces go back on.
Has been shaping up well on AW, making an encouraging start in handicaps when third of 12 over 1m at Kempton 22 days ago. Potential for better again and the one to beat if as effecitve on the grass.
Made a winning reappearance at Kempton in 2021 and was just a nostril away from repeating that feat back there in March. Hasn't built on that since, though, including well held back on turf latest. Others are more obvious.
Third win of a productive year when scoring by 7 lengths at Bath last month. Shot up in the weights as a result but he showed he can still be very competitive from his mark when close third at Yarmouth a fortnight ago.
Yet to win a handicap but his 4 runs this year have been at least respectable again and he should be competitive again, particularly if pulling out a little more for first-time cheekpieces.
Winning return to turf at Windsor (1m) in April and creditable third off this mark back there since.
First success for this yard when seeing off 9 rivals in 1m Windsor Class 5 17 days ago. In a much higher grade now but he had a bit in hand and ought to be competitive again.

Forecasts
Bearaway (9/4), Dandy Maestro (3/1), The Rain King (4/1), Flyin' High (7/1), Love Dreams (15/2), Fantasy Believer (14/1), Raising Sand (16/1), Beau Jardine (50/1)
There's nothing in BEARAWAY's pedigree to suggest he won't prove as effective on the grass and this lightly-raced 4-y-o is taken to come good under Ryan Moore. The thriving Dandy Maestro and recent Windsor scorer The Rain King can battle it out for minor honours.
