Betfred Good Luck To Huddersfield Giants Handicap

Off time: 14:43 | Winning time: 1m 13.59s

(3)

Lethal Nymph³⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-11| J: A Kirby| T: C G Cox| OR: 87| D

4/5

Winner of 6f novice events at Wolverhampton and Doncaster last month. Surely more to come and opening mark of 87 looks manageable.

Form: 11

(4)

Amazonian Dream²⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: Daniel Muscutt| T: B R Millman| OR: 85

10/1

Ended last summer on the up with a brace of 5f handicap wins. Yet to threaten this season but he didn't fare too badly when making late headway into mid-division in a big field at Ascot latest.

Form: 0011-79

(7)

Melayu Kingdom¹³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: K Stott| T: K A Ryan| OR: 85

16/1

Thirsk debut scorer last spring who was fourth in a Ripon listed next time. Touch disappointing since but latest fifth of 15 in 5f handicap at York's Ebor meeting was a step back in the right direction and the return to 6f should suit.

Form: 149-465

(6)

Fly To Glory⁴¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: K Shoemark| T: A Watson| OR: 83| D

28/1

Started his career with a pair of 6f Newcastle novice wins. Made an inauspicious start to his handicap career when last of 12 at Lingfield (6f, AW) last month but it's still early days. Makes turf debut here.

Form: 1130

(1)

Eternal Halo¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: S M Levey| T: K Dalgleish| OR: 83

20/1

Has failed to make an impact in 3 listed events since her York novice success last spring. A drop to handicap company provides her with a more realistic chance but it's hard to argue her mark looks generous.

Form: 4170-7

(2)

Lethal Levi¹⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 9-5| J: C Lee| T: K R Burke| OR: 81| D

10/3

Third win when seeing off 7 rivals in 6f Yarmouth handicap in April and good fourth of 12 in competitive Sky Bet Sunday Series handicap at Hamilton since. Cheekpieces worn in Scotland left off now. Likely to go well for in-form yard.

Form: 132-314

(5)

Another Investment¹⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: J Mitchell| T: N Tinkler| OR: 80| D

9/1

Won York novice on final 2yo start. Unable to make a significant impact in 2 handicap starts this season but his mark is edging down.

Form: 701-55

Forecasts

Lethal Nymph (4/5), Lethal Levi (10/3), Another Investment (9/1), Amazonian Dream (10/1), Melayu Kingdom (16/1), Eternal Halo (20/1), Fly To Glory (28/1)

LETHAL NYMPH looks a very useful prospect and is selected to make light of top weight on handicap debut and stretch his unbeaten record to 3. Lethal Levi's latest Hamilton fourth looks a solid piece of 3-y-o sprint handicap form and he can follow the selection home ahead of Melayu Kingdom.
