Course winner. Hooded for 1st time, fourth of 10 in handicap at Windsor (6f, good to firm, 25/1) 15 days ago, ridden around halfway and keeping on. Return to 7f/ this venue may help from easing mark.
Dual C&D winner last year who ran best race for a while when runner-up back here in April. Creditable fourth at Chepstow (6f) has followed and certainly not dismissed with very promising apprentice taking off valuable 7 lb.
Belatedly off the mark over this trip at Chelmsford (7f) in November. Better for return without being seen to best effect when fifth in big-field Ascot handicap (6f) 10 days ago and this less demanding. Booking of Doyle catches the eye.
Course winner but losing run stretches back to 2020 and he was below form in a first-time visor (left off now) over 6f here in April. Best recent efforts have come under today's rider but he's never won over this far.
Dual 7f winner on AW/turf last year but below best when last seen, fading out of things when twelfth of 13 in handicap at Kempton (7f) in October. Needs to bounce back returning from a break.
Back-to-back winner of 6f AW events in December who left lesser effort on turf in his wake when runner-up at Lingfield (7f) in April, just failing. Worth a look from same mark.
Veteran who arrives on the back of a string of consistent efforts on AW/turf, respectable third of 14 in handicap at Salisbury (7f, good to firm) 16 days ago. However, suspicion is he may be vulnerable to a couple here.
Respectable fourth of 8 in handicap at Lingfield (7f, AW, 16/1) 22 days ago, outpaced home turn and running on. Remains less exposed than most but she may need to drop a little more in weights before becoming of serious interest.
Winner at Lingfield (7f) in December. Creditable third of 7 in handicap back at that venue in January, headed inside final 1f and one paced. Returns to action with yard amongst the winners and not discounted.
C&D winner. Latest win at Newcastle in March. 9/2, good second of 13 in handicap at Nottingham (6.1f, good) 11 days ago, finding only a revitalised sort too strong. Should give another good account.
C&D winner. 2 wins from 5 runs this year. 18/1, improved on recent efforts to win 11-runner handicap at Southwell (7.1f) 30 days ago, making all and keeping on well. Can make presence felt.
Yet to taste success for this yard but plenty of creditable efforts to call upon last year and he had little go right on his reappearance run at Thirsk (7f) 3 weeks ago, going well when denied a run from 2f out. Has to be worth a look.

G'daay (2/1), Patontheback (5/1), Forbearing (13/2), Port Noir (15/2), Dandys Derriere (8/1), Keep Right On (10/1), El Hombre (14/1), Northbound (16/1), Diva Dancer (20/1), Mostallim (28/1), Fieldsman (33/1), River Wharfe (200/1)
PATONTHEBACK quickly dispelled a lesser effort on turf when finishing a solid second over this trip at Lingfield 31 days ago and, from the same mark, looks to hold sound claims given his all-weather profile is largely a solid one. Northbound's losing run is off-putting but he undoubtedly caught the eye at Thirsk recently and demands a second look. Keep Right On and Dandys Derriere complete the shortlist.
