Fourth C&D win when seeing off 10 rivals a week ago, pulling 2 lengths clear. Penalty unlikely to prevent another bold bid for his very much in-form yard.
Sixth of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (7f) 23 days ago. Back on a good mark but others arrive with more pressing claims.
C&D winner. 10/1, seventh of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (7f) 23 days ago, not ideally placed.
Completed a 4-timer when winning an 11-runner race over C&D in January. Winning run came to a halt here last time but still emerged with credit in third. Should give another good account.
Promising individual. First run since leaving George Scott when good second of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f, 8/13) 13 days ago, needing stronger gallop. Remains open to progress for new yard.
Latest win at Salisbury in August. Respectable fifth of 12 in handicap at Kempton (1m) 43 days ago, needing stronger gallop.
Winner at Newcastle in November. Below form sixth of 10 in handicap at Kempton (7f, 14/1) 36 days ago, racing too freely.
No encouragement on Newcastle's tapeta on his 3 runs this winter. Can only watch for now.
C&D winner (fibresand). Landed a second 1m Chelmsford win of the winter 4 weeks ago. Should remain competitive after a 5 lb rise.
Racked up a course 4-timer to start 2022. Winning run came to an end when only sixth last time but there were excuses.
Unreliable type. One win from 27 Flat runs. Eleven runs since last win in 2020. Fifth of 8 in handicap (18/1) at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 13 days ago, not ideally placed.

Robert Walpole (2/1), Love Your Work (7/2), Back From Dubai (4/1), Mutaraafeq (15/2), Lucayan (17/2), Finery (10/1), Takeonefortheteam (22/1), Defence Treaty (22/1), Bertog (66/1), Apex King (100/1), Cote d'Azur (100/1)
ROBERT WALPOLE couldn't justify market support on his recent first run for the Roger Varian stable but it's surely only a matter of time before he wins races for his new yard so he's well worth another chance. Love Your Work, Lucayan and Back From Dubai have all been in fine form here this winter and can fight it out for minor honours.
