Went close in first-time blinkers at Leicester (20.5f) in November, but he's failed to reproduce that form in 2 subsequent starts and is now 0-14 overall.
Notched sixth success between the flags last May. Yet to shine following 3 appearances under Rules, but no great surprise were he to raise game now pitched into a handicap for the first time.
Sole success to date was gained over this C&D back in October 2019. Resumes for new yard on an attractive mark, but there's a good chance he'll need the run following 15 months off.
Some promise in a bumper and in maiden/novice company in this sphere, but failed to improve when sixth on handicap debut at Taunton last month. Others preferred.
Big chunk of improvement when landing a 21.4f Wincanton handicap last February. Nowhere near that level in 2 starts so far this season, but mark is on the slide and will be a danger to all if on-song.
Hereford winner for Kevin Bishop last season and attracted good support ahead of her reappearance/debut for new yard at Taunton where she fell at the halfway point. Claims granted a clear round.
Opened her account at Fontwell last spring and best effort since when narrowly denied in first-time cheekpieces over this C&D in December. 3 lb rise for that looks fair and she merits respect.
Fitted with a first-time tongue strap, she wasn't disgraced on return for new yard following a wind op at Ludlow (23.8f). Hood back on here and place possibilities if able to build on that effort.
Poor strike rate (1-19 over hurdles) and hopes very much pinned on the fitting of cheekpieces aiding a revival here.
Still a maiden following 13 attempts in this sphere, but he has finished in the money on several occasions and step up to 3m probably didn't help at Taunton last time. Each-way shout.
Posted his best effort yet when third on return/debut for this yard in 2½m novices' handicap chase at Huntingdon in November. Poor at Plumpton next time, though, and he's opposable back over hurdles.
Produced one of his better efforts when fifth in a 17-runner Taunton handicap (3m) last month, but whether he will be able to build on that remains to be seen.

Sienna Royale (10/3), Lightonthewing (7/2), Flutiste (15/2), Blackfinch (15/2), Diamon Des Flos (8/1), Raddon Top (17/2), Just Go For It (14/1), Fenrir Binding (14/1), Merchant In Milan (16/1), Lightning Gold (18/1), Rosserk Abbey (28/1), Lake Shore Drive (50/1)
LIGHTONTHEWING has failed to land a blow in handicaps at Chepstow and Plumpton since returning to action in November, but he is now just 3 lb higher than for his wide-margin Wincanton breakthrough success last February. Susan Gardner's charge is taken to bounce back and resume winning ways, perhaps at the chief expense of Just Go For It. Others to consider include Sienna Royale and Flutiste.
