Thirteen runs since last win in 2018. 12/1, 15½ lengths last of 7 to Ornate in handicap at Lingfield (5f, AW) in March. Betting may prove best guide returning from 8 months off.
Losing run is mounting up but went very close in trio of 5f handicaps on turf prior to a lesser effort at Doncaster (5f) last month, albeit racing on outer flank. Bounce back not ruled out back on AW.
Not for the first time hinted at a revival when midfield in 14-runner Doncaster handicap (5f) last month. Has since joined another yard that do well with such types so good showing not ruled out.
Winner at Chelmsford (5f) in September. 20/1, good second of 7 in handicap at Leicester (5f, heavy) 18 days ago. 1 lb higher now but not discounted if replicating that here.
4-time C&D winner. 33/1, creditable fourth of 9 in handicap at Wolverhampton (5.1f) 11 days ago, making late headway. Mark looks about right on balance.
Posted a useful effort when forging clear to score at York (5.4f) in July. Well held in stronger company thereafter, including at listed level but this is less demanding at least.
5-time course winner but not at his best in recent months, albeit not helped by racing on the flank when beting only one home in a 14-runner 6f handicap here last month. Mark has eased a little more.
Well and truly perked up by a switch to Rebecca Menzies, winning over 5f at Thirsk and Newmarket during August. Equally effective on AW so not out of things from 3 lb higher mark.
Resumed winning ways at Chester (5f) in August and sound start for new connections when neck second at Wolverhampton (5.1f) 11 days ago, running on late. This tougher but respected off same mark.
C&D winner. Seventh of 11 in handicap (16/1) at Kempton (6f) 23 days ago. Others more persuasive.
20/1, last of 6 in handicap at Chester (7.6f, heavy) 41 days ago. Significantly back down in trip. Makes tapeta debut. First run for yard after leaving Iain Jardine.
5-time C&D winner. Latest win at Wolverhampton in July. 28/1, below form seventh of 12 in handicap at this course (6f) 49 days ago. Visor on 1st time. Needs a couple of these to falter.

Forecasts
Night On Earth (11/4), Indian Sounds (9/2), Lahore (8/1), Lipsink (8/1), Phoenix Star (9/1), Politics (10/1), Outrage (11/1), Secretinthepark (12/1), Blackberry (14/1), Kind Review (14/1), Kraken Power (18/1), Tathmeen (20/1), Ornate (25/1), Marnie James (33/1)
Plenty in with claims in a competitive handicap with the narrow vote in favour of NIGHT ON EARTH. He ran a solid first race for Mick Appleby when running on for second over this trip at Wolverhampton 11 days ago and his present mark is a workable one. Indian Sounds is best forgiven his latest run and is feared, along with veteran Secretinthepark and Lipsink. Lahore is also worthy of note.
- NIGHT ON EARTH (IRE)
- INDIAN SOUNDS (IRE)
- SECRETINTHEPARK
