Completed hat-trick in the manner of a smart prospect on handicap bow at Hamilton 6 weeks ago. Likely to stay so looks capable of defying a 10 lb rise and pedigree gives hope he'll handle ground.
Made a winning start in handicaps at Leicester and then had excuses in follow-up bid at Sandown. Runner-up in a messy races at Haydock/Newbury since and may still have a bigger performance in him.
Progressive gelding who won first 2 starts in handicaps before an excellent close third in Melrose over C&D. Steady pace against him at Musselburgh since and remains one to be interested in.
Off the mark in first-time blinkers on Newcastle handicap bow and followed up in emphatic fashion in a match at Redcar (14f). Close third at Haydock since but this is much more competitive.
Has improved a chunk in staying handicaps this summer, winning at Sandown and Kempton. Excuses at Musselburgh since and not taken lightly.
Goodwood maiden winner on sole 2-y-o start. Consistent rather than progressive form in handicaps this season though this track should at least suit his front-running style.
Progressing well in handicaps, winning 2 of 3 starts, both at Salisbury. Seemed very much at home under the softer conditions when having 11 lengths in hand for recent success in July. Lots to like.
Ran poorly in Melrose over C&D but quickly bounced back in a less competitive environment when beating more exposed types at Ayr 3 weeks ago. Looks vulnerable again back up in class.
Having a good first season, winning 3 small-field events, though struggled when tried at this level in the Melrose 3 starts back.
Emphatic winner over 11f at Newbury on second handicap start. Not seen to best effect next 2 starts and possible excuses at Newbury 3 weeks ago, though didn't appear to relish this trip in Melrose.
Going the right way, improving from his wide-margin Nottingham win (10.2f) up 11 lb when going close in a stronger race at Goodwood. Backed that up when second at Sandown and worth a try at this trip.
Kempton novice winner (1m) at 2 yrs who has run to a similar level in defeat in handicaps this term, though beaten 7 lengths at Chester on yard debut last month. Others stronger.
Quickly resumed winning ways at Ayr but found out in much more competitive handicap at Nottingham 9 days ago. Tongue strap now applied and not easy to make a case for.

Forecasts
Mahrajaan (3/1), Surrey Gold (9/2), Ravenscraig Castle (9/2), Fleurman (15/2), Star Caliber (17/2), Praiano (10/1), Ziggy (11/1), Annandale (20/1), Vino Victrix (25/1), Qaasid (28/1), Moliwood (33/1), Eclipse De Lunar (40/1), Charging Thunder (40/1)
MAHRAJAAN was hugely impressive when completing the hat-trick on his handicap debut at Hamilton, leaving the impression he'll be running in pattern events before long, so could well be ahead of the handicapper still. Testing conditions would be an unknown but his dam won the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf on soft. Fleurman and Ravenscraig Castle are also on the upgrade so head the dangers.

- FLEURMAN (IRE)
