Useful 3-time winner who shaped as if retaining his ability after a lengthy absence at Newmarket on return. Good second at Haydock next time but was tailed-off at Doncaster since. Can bounce back.
|
4-time C&D winner. 15/2, probably remained in form when fifth of 12 in handicap at Ayr (10f, good to firm) 7 days ago, left with plenty to do. Drops in grade and should make his presence felt.
|
Scored at Epsom and Haydock but wasn't seen to best effect going for a hat-trick when fifth at Thirsk last time, short of room around 2f out and never able to unwind. Leading claims back up in trip.
|
Lightly-raced maiden. 2/1, respectable second of 8 in minor event at Redcar (10f, good), edged out post. Makes handicap debut after a 3-month break so betting likely to be informative.

Forecasts
Highwaygrey (85/40), Tiger Beetle (9/4), Bowland Park (10/3), Living Legend (7/2)
Impossible to rule any of the quartet out but the vote goes to BOWLAND PARK, who wasn't seen to best effect when finishing fifth in his hat-trick bid at Thirsk earlier this month and is well worth another chance. Highwaygrey is a 4-time C&D winner so Tim Easterby's charge shades the vote for second, over handicap debutant Tiger Beetle.
- BOWLAND PARK
- HIGHWAYGREY
- TIGER BEETLE
