Foaled March 11. 65,000 gns yearling, Pivotal colt. Half-brother to 1¼m winner Secret Box. Dam 6f-1m winner. Noteworthy newcomer.
Foaled April 16. £9,000 2-y-o, The Last Lion gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 1½m-1¾m winner Western Devil.
Fair form shown in couple of starts so far, latest when fourth of 10 in minor event at Salisbury (6f, good, 18/1) 30 days ago. Blinkers applied to try eke out that bit extra.
Half-brother to 1m winner Swiss Knight and 2-y-o 5f winner Poetry, both useful. Promising fourth of 11 at Windsor on debut in July but unable to match that a fortnight later. Worth another chance.
62,000 gns breeze-up purchase who knew his job reasonably well on debut at Kempton (7f, 33/1). Improved a shade when third at Newmarket next time and he could have a part to play here.
Foaled April 16. Invincible Spirit filly. Dam, 2-y-o 6f/7f winner, half-sister to useful winner up to 1½m Tears of The Sun. One for shortlist on debut given connections.
Cheap purchase who has offered little in trio of minor events. Easily ignored.
Foaled March 6. Lethal Force filly. Dam, placed at 6f, half-sister to useful 6f/7f winner Mister Snowdon (by Lethal Force).
Foaled April 29. Pivotal filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Desert Vision. Dam 2-y-o 6f winner who stayed 1m. Highly respected on debut.
Foaled February 9. Mayson filly. Sister to 2-y-o 5f/5.4f winner May Girl and half-sister to 6f/7f winner Miss Uppity and 5f winner Miss Gradenko.

Forecasts
Desert Team (13/8), Infrared (7/2), Poet (5/1), Level Up (8/1), Taaqat (8/1), Seven Springs (14/1), Reversion (16/1), Too Funky (25/1), Mary Of Modena (80/1), Last Roar (125/1)
Some well-bred newcomers on show but it could pay to side with POET. Roger Varian's charge disappointed when only sixth at Salisbury last month but he's worth another chance to confirm his debut promise here. Level Up could provide the main threat sporting first-time blinkers, while Taaqat, Infrared and Desert Team look likely sorts on paper and any market support may prove significant.
