Signed off 2020 with a pair of AW successes but 10-month absence subsequently is of obvious concern. Likely to need this belated reappearance.
Hasn't gone on from a positive return at Newmarket, although a patient ride after a break wouldn't have been ideal for him at Chelmsford last time. Could get back on track.
Useful form when winning at Pontefract last summer but yet to hit top form so far this term. Hard to make a case for despite a sliding mark.
Much improved in cheekpieces when winning 5f handicaps at Wolverhampton and at Sandown during the spring. Form has dipped somewhat since, but he's at least edging back to a handy mark.
More miss than hit of late, down the field at Ripon 25 days ago, so hard to fancy in a competitive event.
Has been a real success story for this yard, scoring twice already this term and shaping as if still in good order when second at Catterick last time. Respected once more.
Dual course winner who, having slipped in the weights, offered a lot more encouragement when second (despite meeting trouble) at Newmarket last time. Worth taking a chance on.
Scored twice this season, latest at York in July. Last couple of efforts have been respectable but the handicapper appears to be in charge right now.
Thriving sprinter who made it four from five for the season at Bath 3 weeks ago. Steps up in grade, but another bold showing seems assured.
Winless since scoring over C&D over 2 years ago. On a fair mark, however, and wasn't seen to best effect at Ripon 8 days ago, so can't be completely discounted with a visor back on.
Had fallen plenty in weights prior to ending losing run at Beverley in May. However, he's not replicated that since, making no impression when twelfth at the same course last time. Others preferred.
Scored here last year but hasn't been firing of late, so others make more appeal.

Al Simmo (10/3), Rewaayat (4/1), Wentworth Falls (9/2), Look Out Louis (5/1), Nelson Gay (13/2), Bomb Proof (7/1), Princess Power (8/1), Rayong (18/1), Bossipop (33/1), James Watt (33/1), Young Tiger (40/1), Rock Boy Grey (40/1), Teruntum Star (100/1)
WENTWORTH FALLS is often a hostage to fortune but he's handicapped to win and returns to a track that suits him, so he takes marginal preference over the progressive Al Simmo, with the well-treated Bomb Proof another one to consider.
