Yet to score in 2021 but in the frame in Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot and July Cup at Newmarket. Below par in Goodwood's KIng George Stakes last time though and best form is on softer ground.
Back to winning ways in Hamilton conditions event in July before excelling himself when runner-up to Winter Power in Nunthorpe Stakes at York. Effective at 6f too, so he's one for the shortlist.
Smart sprinter who bagged his second success of 2021 in Group 3 at Deauville (6f) 6 days ago by 1¼ lengths from Duhail. This demands a clear personal best, though.
Runner-up in this event 12 months ago and posted another smart effort when second in Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot. Rare below-par run in Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville but sort to bounce back.
Confirmed himself a high-class sprinter when landing July Cup at Newmarket. Below-par third on softer ground in Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville since but can bounce back in style now. Big player.
Smart gelding who recorded his third win of 2021 in 6f listed race at Newmarket 7 days ago. C&D winner too, so he's no forlorn hope for place purposes.
Has flourished this term, completing a four-timer in Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. Good fifth to Starman in July Cup before runner-up in Goodwood's Lennox Stakes. Can make presence felt again.
150/1 winner of Coventry at Royal Ascot in 2020. Showed that was no fluke when fifth in first-time blinkers in Hungerford Stakes at Newbury (7f) 21 days ago but he has plenty on his plate here.
Recorded notable wins in the Richmond and Middle Park as a juvenile but well below par in Ascot's Pavilion Stakes and Newmarket's July Cup (blinkered) this season. Has questions to answer now.
Has continued her improvement this term, winning Group 3 at Newcastle and solid efforts in July Cup at Newmarket and Nunthorpe Stakes at York. She's no forlorn hope back at 6f.
Smart filly who arrives on the back of a career-best win in Hackwood Stakes at Newbury (6f) 29 days ago. Another big step forward is required here, however.

Forecasts
Starman (1/1), Creative Force (6/1), Art Power (17/2), Emaraaty Ana (11/1), Glen Shiel (18/1), Supremacy (20/1), Chil Chil (22/1), Happy Romance (25/1), Garrus (25/1), Summerghand (25/1), Nando Parrado (28/1)
Ground conditions look set to be much quicker than is often the case for this Group 1 sprint which should play right into the hands of STARMAN and Ed Walker's July Cup hero is strongly fancied to get back to winning ways having underperformed on soft going in Deauville. There's little to choose between a cluster of his rivals but 3-y-o Creative Force and 2020 runner-up Glen Shiel rate the pick.
- STARMAN
- CREATIVE FORCE (IRE)
- GLEN SHIEL
