German 2000 Guineas winner who has eased in weights and confirmed solid start for new yard when beaten narrowly in to third at Newmarket (7f) last month. Not ruled out for all his draw isn't ideal.

Proved at least as good as ever to come out on top back on turf/sporting first-time blinkers over C&D in May, getting on top close home. 7 lb higher now but fancied to go well again from handy draw.

Low-mileage colt who scored at Lingfield in April before hitting the frame over C&D (behind Tintoretto). Hasn't quite scaled same heights on each of his last 2 starts though, and wide draw not ideal.

Verdict

Typically competitive stuff with the narrow vote in favour of SUNSET BREEZE. A multiple winner as a 3-y-o, he bounced back to his very best (in blinkers) when just touched off at Newcastle in June and he may yet have a little more to offer from this sort of mark. Tintoretto, who scored over C&D in May, Internationaldream and Magical Wish are a trio of others to consider.

  1. SUNSET BREEZE
  2. TINTORETTO (IRE)
  3. INTERNATIONALDREAM (IRE)
