Consistent sort who arrives here on the back of a good third in 1m Doncaster handicap 14 days ago. He can race off the same mark here so should be in the shake-up again.
100/1 but much improved when second of 11 in 1m Doncaster novice 15 days ago. Goes into handicaps now on a lenient mark. Expected to be bang there.
Made a winning return in first-time blinkers in 7f Thirsk maiden before good fourth on handicap debut here (7f) three weeks ago. Needs considering with this step up to 1m likely to suit.
Has returned an improved model, landing 1m2f Chelmsford handicap and posting good efforts since, fifth in handicap at Leicester 12 days ago when losing both front shoes. Likely to do better still.
Blinkered and much improved on his last two runs, opening his account at Newcastle before fifth in 1m handicap at Newmarket 65 days ago. Has the potential to do better still after his break.
Fair juvenile maiden but he signed off for 2020 with modest fifth of 6 in 7f nursery at Kempton. Returns from 7 months off for turf debut now with bit to find. Hood on.
Opened his account in 6f Redcar novice last August but well held in valuable conditions event at Newmarket after. Since gelded and he needs to hit the ground running on his handicap debut.
Yet to score but fairly useful gelding who posted excellent third of 10 in 1m1f Lingfield novice 18 days ago. Enters calculations back in handicap company.
Fair 7f winner in 2020 but he's yet to fire in two runs this term, last of 10 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 17 days ago. Hood back on with work to do.

Forecasts
Makashi (5/2), Balearic (3/1), Elvrika (7/1), Surprise Picture (7/1), Realist (15/2), Baby Alya (8/1), Mickydee (10/1), Italian Breeze (14/1), Cotai Bear (14/1), Time Interval (28/1)
MAKASHI belied his long odds when an excellent second at Doncaster earlier in the month and is taken to go one better now venturing into handicaps off an attractive-opening mark. Both Realist and Balearic look to have better days ahead of them too though, and are greatly feared in an open handicap, while Baby Alya is another who needs considering.
