Fairly useful and largely consistent handicapper who was a fine fourth in the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket in September. Boasts a good record when fresh and he's one to consider.
Successful twice for this yard as a 3-y-o, but stint in Hong Kong last year was fruitless and he hasn't fired on all cylinders in 3 starts since rejoining Ed Walker.
Held form well in 2020, signing off on a winning note at Kempton. Resumed this season with a string of creditable efforts in good handicaps and, though well held at Epsom recently, he's not ruled out.
Just a 2-y-o maiden to his name but more good efforts than bad ones on his CV overall, touched off by the progressive Zabeel Champion at Ripon (1¼m, good to firm) on penultimate start. Blinkers added.
Placed all 3 starts for Roger Varian prior to scoring on the AW in France (sole run for Francis-Henri Graffard). Struggled here on recent return/debut for new yard, but not one to write off just yet.
Dual C&D winner in 2020 and signed campaign off with a creditable effort at Kempton in November. Should come on for last month's reappearance spin at York, but this demands a clear personal-best.
Placed both starts over C&D here last season and made it third time lucky at this course 15 days ago. 4 lb rise is reasonable and he needs considering, for all that this is more demanding.
Disappointing on penultimate start, but back on track in a first-time hood when third off this mark at Yarmouth (1m, good to firm). Promises to be suited by this stiffer test and merits respect.
Dual hurdles winner in 2020 and snapped a losing run in this sphere on return at Doncaster in March. Not at his very best the last twice, though, and he's likely to find this too competitive.
Career best when winning 10-runner handicap at Wolverhampton (9.5f) in April. However, found out off this higher mark next time and more will certainly be needed at this level back on turf.

Forecasts
Russian Virtue (4/1), Mascat (4/1), Helian (5/1), Sweet Reward (11/2), You're Hired (13/2), Andaleep (11/1), Leroy Leroy (12/1), Duckett's Grove (12/1), Mostawaa (16/1), Semser (40/1)
It may be worth chancing YOU'RE HIRED, who goes well fresh (bolted up on his reappearance at Newmarket last season) and resumes on a mark 1 lb lower than that off which he was a fine fourth in the Cambridgeshire during the autumn. Mascat has yet to add to his 2-y-o maiden win, but he is a big player nonetheless and Russian Virtue is also feared with this step up in trip a good move.
- YOU'RE HIRED
- MASCAT
- RUSSIAN VIRTUE
