Off the mark in 7f Kempton novice in January and solid placed efforts off this mark at Chester and Haydock (both good to soft) the last twice. Still, some of these appear to possess greater potential.
Gelded during the winter and 2-2 this season, bagging 1m handicaps at Brighton and Windsor. 7 lb rise for latest success tolerable, particularly given that he remains open to improvement.
Opened his account at the seventh time of asking in 8.6f Wolverhampton handicap. 5 lb rise fair enough, but needs to prove that he can match that form returned to turf and back at 7f.
Improved with each of his 3 starts as a juvenile, close third in 6f Kempton novice when last seen in October. Gelded since and moving back up in trip for this handicap debut will be in his favour.
Has failed to build on 2-y-o debut promise in 3 subsequent starts, out with the washing on handicap debut at Newmarket (7f, good to soft) last time. Now tried in blinkers.
Still seeking first taste of success (0-11), but has found just one too good with cheekpieces enlisted in 7f handicaps at Newmarket and Yarmouth the last twice. Should make his presence felt.
Has finished runner-up on no less than six occasions, but he's had plenty of chances (0-12) and is likely to find one or two too good once more.
Well held on debut in April, but has subsequently shaped well in maidens at Lingfield (7f) and Salisbury (6f). Return to this trip looks a good move and may well improve now pitched into a handicap.
Failed to go on from an encouraging start here as a 2yo, but step back in the right direction when fourth on return/handicap bow at Newmarket (7f, good to soft). However, this looks a tougher race.
Has shown ability in 3 starts over 7f on the AW, most recently finishing fourth of 10 in a Chelmsford novice. Appeals as the type to do better now handicapping, but others preferred all the same.
Ten-race maiden who hit the crossbar for the third time in a heavy-ground Nottingham handicap on penultimate start. However, not so good when behind Dashing Dick and Prospect at Yarmouth since.

The Whipmaster (4/1), Melody Of Life (9/2), Dashing Dick (9/2), Military Man (5/1), Mojandil (13/2), Shuv H'penny King (8/1), Prospect (12/1), Tell'em Nowt (12/1), Mutaraafeq (14/1), Ower Starlight (20/1), Royal Tribute (28/1), G'daay (40/1)
Dropping back to 7f may not prove to be an issue for THE WHIPMASTER on this stiff track, and the progressive gelding is taken to complete the hat-trick with Ryan Moore again in the hot-seat. Dashing Dick and Ower Starlight may emerge as the main dangers.
