Brother to smart winner up to 1m Hawkesbury and overcame both inexperience and a wide trip to make a winning debut in Salisbury novice last month. Should progress but will do well to defy a penalty.
Sea The Stars gelding. Dam, 1m winner, half-sister to smart 7f winner Hadaatha (by Sea The Stars) out of smart winner up to 1m (2-y-o 7f winner) Hathrah. Interesting newcomer but tough ask on debut.
Bred to be smart but was given a considerate introduction despite being short in the betting when fifth in Doncaster maiden 3 weeks ago. Open to progress.
Half-brother to Enable and looks to have plenty of ability himself, beaten only by a smart sort at Ascot on sole 2-y-o run before bumping into an exciting prospect at Newbury on return. One to beat.
Dubawi colt. Half-brother to 2-y-o 6f winner Swift Rose and 2-y-o 6f winner Ottoman Court, both useful. Dam 7f/1m winner. Interesting newcomer but making debut in a warm event.
€850,000 yearling, Kingman colt who shaped very well when third in a strong Newcastle maiden in December, running green after a very slow start before finishing strongly. Could be useful.
85,000 gns yearling, Night of Thunder colt. Dam, French 11f winner, half-sister to useful winner Keep Quiet. Makes debut in a strong-looking novice.
120,000 gns yearling, New Approach colt. Brother to useful 12.4f winner Ice Pyramid and half-brother to 6f winner Cool Esprit. Wears tongue strap. Best watched.
Wootton Bassett colt who made a highly-promising start when runner-up in Wood Ditton over C&D last month. That form is proving strong so must be considered.
Already gelded despite his excellent pedigree but showed plenty to work on amidst greenness when fifth in Yarmouth novice on debut last month.
Once-raced maiden. 250/1, tenth of 11 in novice at Yarmouth (8f, good to firm) on debut 24 days ago.
Dawn Approach filly. Tongue strap on, eleventh of 16 in maiden at Nottingham (8.3f, good to soft, 33/1) on debut 7 days ago, not knocked about. Looks one for the longer term.
Distorted Humor filly. Sister to useful 1¼m winner Wahgah and half-sister to several winners, including smart US 8.5f winner Bashaar. Dam 2-y-o 7f winner who stayed 1¼m. Best watched.

Forecasts
Derab (10/11), Fireworks (11/4), Southern Voyage (11/1), Great News (12/1), Injazati (14/1), Chief Of Staff (22/1), Aqwaam (22/1), Desert Wisdom (28/1), Ubahha (28/1), Mowaleda (66/1), Sarrdar (80/1), Cabrini (300/1), Donya (300/1)
This looks a strong novice on paper, headed by Enable's half-brother DERAB, who was beaten only by subsequent Craven runner-up La Barrosa in a maiden at Ascot before bumping into exciting-filly Snow Lantern in a similar event at Newbury on return. Southern Voyage and Fireworks both showed plenty when placed in strong maidens over C&D and Newcastle respectively so need considering, too.
