Made a fair start to career when third at Beverley in September. Failed to build on that at York next time but softer ground was perhaps to blame.

Ran to only a modest level on her Newcastle debut in December, but was considerately handled and should improve.

Improved from her debut when fourth in a 7f maiden at Newmarket in September. Not in same form at Kempton the following month, but it's still early days and she should win races.

Forecasts

Elvrika (3/1), Sunset Bay (3/1), Celtic Empress (7/2), Verreaux Eagle (7/1), Matamua (8/1), Lexington Liberty (14/1), Star Shakeera (16/1), Elegant Ellen (25/1), Via Sistina (40/1), Love Sensation (50/1), Fleeting Blue (150/1), Allayne B (300/1)

Verdict

SUNSET BAY was a shade disappointing on her all-weather debut at Kempton when last seen in October, but with her Newmarket form having worked out well the time before, she has to be worth another chance. Elvrika and Verreaux Eagle look the other key players on form, but newcomer Matamua would also need taking seriously if well backed.
